I have a 2014 GQ Abarth Cabrio and I love this car. I'm 57 and I feel like a kid driving it, I have done a lot of mods to her she is pushing a little over 200 hp now.
I was ready to say that it was rather overshadowed by that Maserati, but no! It's still absolutely brilliant! I just test drove one today and it's such a life enhancer.
You can shut it off in the evic menu. You can also set it for economy which will tell you when to shift to save gas or sport which only goes on before you redline
they did the same thing that dodge did when they made the srt-4 the exhaust system has no mufflers in it from the factory just a resonator, it sounds soo good !
Mods you must have for your Abarth to be bad ass! Go pedal,cool air intake,pulley, throttle body, front mount intercooler . Now you have a car that Fiat should have made!!
Malicious SRT congratulations! I actually made a deal on one yesterday as well! Should have it by the middle of the week. I'll be posting videos when it take delivery on it. I like your videos by the way :)
DodgeMagnum13 Thanks, unfortunately the Charger was traded in for the Fiat as I am starting a business and need the extra cash, cut costs in less than half by buying the Abarth. I'll be back for a Hellcat in due time though ;)
I want to keep mine but it's a struggle with a 3 year old lol. Fun to drive and sounds so good for a little 4 banger, but I need more space. And it costs too much to fill up now. Almost $45 bucks for a tank which is ridiculous in that little thing.

huge engines are useless , we Italians are the best to create small engines with major powers and this Abarth is an example, another is Alfa Romeo 4C, 1750 with 240hp ;)
anemite2 ahahahah the ST and the 208 GT... Here is another who thinks only of power. The 4C weighs 895kg, is a car for the track, nothing to do with the ST and the 208 GT. 1° they are of different segments, 2° the 4C has a carbon fiber monocoque weighing just 65kg, 3°don't do stupid comparisons, and 4° it do 8 minutes and 4 seconds at Nurburgring
Franco96 GTA which still is overpriced when is compared to a much superior cars like corvettes and porsche, sure the carbon fiber helps a lot to have less weight but for the price is an offense to have the crappy 200 HP
anemite2 240hp not 200 and they are sufficient fot that weight and then soon will come a more powerful version. You put it in comparison with Porsche and Corvette not understand, however, that in the track they are both beaten by 4C. It costs a lot because it is a true Alfa Romeo, the brand with the best story you can find in motorsport.
haha when the Maserati pulls up next to you is the moment you just kinda put your head down and get depressed that you baught a car for a sporty feel yet it will never compete with an actual sports car. trust me, I know that feeling all to well in my GTI
only thing i don't like about this car is the orangeish red leds on everything i usually see that on cheap cars. Now this does retail at 22 still green or blue would make it much better.
I think you could push more from the 1.4L MA too bad the A500 comes out with only 5 gears. I have the EURO 1.4L Turbo TJET and what I only miss is the 6th gear...
This thing sounds pretty cool. Too bad that it's one of those cars that when people hear it, they're going to think "Oooh, Muscle car incoming!" but when they see it, they're going to laugh because it's a little Fiat. Unfortunately, Fiat just has that sort of reputation about it.
Lol u guys only just gettin these in USA, I had the 1.4Turbo Bravo the bigger version of this its none arbarth tho, And its only like 0.4 behind on 0-60 times so it was fast for my first car

Took a hardtop for a test drive last year. LOVED it but needed a larger car for the fam.
Practical, ita nice inside, good sitting position, light and fun to drive. This is the excellent city car for younger people.

The Fiat Bravo is near enough silent too but can hear the turbo quite loudly when changing gears and accelerating through the high gears, 6 speed too

i think he did. its called rev matching. you rev match so before a downshift so you dont destroy your transmission and clutch
