I might be wrong but I thought I heard that the writers didn’t tell Marshall that they wrote his dad died, and that scene with Lily was his first time hearing it, so his reaction was organic.
The first scene reminds me of my own father. He was my hero and my teacher also. The day he died he told me how much he loved me like he ALWAYS did. Then he told me ' Take care of your mother'. One hour later he had a nassive heart attack while they were trying to do a triple bypasss and then he was gone. RIP Old Man.
When I was in elementary school I had my first crush and I told her and she just laughed in my face and it just it felt like I was stabbed right through the heart and I still feel like that to this day 😢😢

For the first clip, that’s been my exact reaction since 3-5th of December. My mom had a heart attack on the 3rd and went with no oxygen to her brain for an hour and they had her on machines.. December 5th came around and they confirmed there wasn’t no brain activity and 5 of us kids had to make that decision.. Every time I think I’m gonna cry, I end up sitting there staring at the wall blankly… idk why the tears won’t come

She was trying to control me, and when we she was mad at me… she will always try to break my heart by flirting with other men’s infront of me…. So I decided to forgive her and leave her forever…. I blocked her everywhere and I didn’t see her or heared her voice since 3 months… I am happy like this and I deserve better, I deserve respect and in return I will give her love to the new one….
