try tossing with the same hand you hit with. i hit with my left, so i like to hold it in my left with my right hand flat on the bottom of my left hand, and then just keep my hand level as i toss
@@Tima10110 actually it helped me, I always put my non dominant foot first, never follow steppings and always thought jumping very high was the key but apparently, you need to jump forward as well.
@@lizhichen3111 ofc jumping high isn’t the solution lol i’ve seen liberos with 10” verts with wicked jump serves. The Toss is key and ur approach has to be fluid, especially focusing on speeding up the last two steps of your approach and snapping high and hard. I do wish however he made it clear that this specific video is for right handers.
Jump serve is such a powerful thing when u have 90-100 cm jump height. I was jumping as far as i could into the zone to get closer to net and was still able to hit the ball at around 310-320 cm height. and at this point if u are able to choose the destination of your serve - it's almost unstoppable
@@AnkitPathak-dp4xh it's not something you can achieve fast, probably u're having wrong technique. If u'll learn right technique, it'll probably get you +20-25 cm vertical jump. And after that it's only legs strength training and omptimizing your bodyweight
it depends, some guys even like to start one step earlier which means your left foot is front when starting, but if you do your steps like me and are right handed you should start with right foot front
As David said: There is not only one correct way. Some (right-handed) people are more comfortable starting with their left foot in front, with their first step already being part of the three-step approach. Try both ways. Meeting the ball at its highest point and at the correct location is the most important part imo.
What I did when I was still practicing was do jump floats(with the run) and hit the ball top-spin. It helped me hit the ball better when I started doing the one-hand toss.
great video, but this feels like less a tutorial, and more a list of things that I wish I could do properly all in succession that would result in a good jump serve 😂
1. right foot front 2. toss ball with high spin 2m in front of you 3. 3 step approach 4. jump up and front towards the ball 5. hit the ball at the highest point possible and fold down your wrist
There are a few main types of jump serves, this high toss one is getting power and topspin, but there’s also floater jump serves where you typically want to toss the ball pretty low and in the middle of your three step approach
The throw is so hard I can’t do it right consistently
Practice the toss alone and when you can get it more consistently then you can start trying to jump serve
You can also start off with tossing with boss hands first if one handed tosses are still uncomfortable
lol just spin it
try tossing with the same hand you hit with. i hit with my left, so i like to hold it in my left with my right hand flat on the bottom of my left hand, and then just keep my hand level as i toss
Practice it with a tennis ball first, believe me
The dude is so fast he removed his black leggings on the first step and put it back on the last
fr was bout to say that 😭😭
I didn't notice that lmao
@@aezidoubleu same lol
its not speed. its wizardry.
I noticed it too😅
This is probably the best tutorial I’ve seen so far
Wdym? This helps literally no one like really

OMG! This is looks soo good whit this music! Good job!👍😘❤️😍✨💯🔥👑
boutta go tell all the ppl that right foot in front is the right way to jump serve
If you hit with your right arm and do a three step approach
it depends, some guys even like to start one step earlier which means your left foot is front when starting, but if you do your steps like me and are right handed you should start with right foot front

@@DavidSeybering95 ya I will have my left foot in front 1st and step forward my right foot when performing the toss
U can serve with any foot forward, the tricky part is getting the angle and power right and then you’re set
AAAHHH, TYYY!!! I couldn’t understand why I don’t have enough strength to throw the ball, my hands seem to be strong, now I understand
Ty
For anyone wondering, the song is 'ready or not' by abbie ferris
TYSM the song us stuck in my head
the first perfect jump serve is always so satisfying
The way that moves beautiful 😍

Just here after watching haiykuu 🤣
00
omg same
He got the haikyuu mood
Bru- this just take me back to when I used to watch Haikyuu 😭😭😭
Thnx a lot… for this tutorial I’m able to improve my jump serve a lot..😊☺️
great video, but this feels like less a tutorial, and more a list of things that I wish I could do properly all in succession that would result in a good jump serve 😂
Thank you so much
This was so useful i just started playing volleyball but was having Trouble with serve and this helped me out so much
This is a professional serve but you should start with normal serves
@@Eyess6766 I tend to use the same jump as serve during my spike to increase vertical due to my short height.
Thanks for the tips.
Bro I am your fan and I want know about how to spike so plz can you provide a video where learn this... Plz bro
Excelente e impresionante...!!!
1. right foot front
2. toss ball with high spin 2m in front of you
3. 3 step approach
4. jump up and front towards the ball
5. hit the ball at the highest point possible and fold down your wrist
NICE SERVE!
I don’t play volleyball yet, but this looks so fun
you can slam it much harder and quicker if when you bring your arm up, you bring it from behind so you can swing through in one swift motion
Lmao i remember when im new to iumps serve, the ball sometimes fall into my face XD
For spikers i suggest tossing to ball 50 60 times a day instead of the full thing lmao
Would u recommend this for a beginner like me?
Bro's leggings dissapeared
super bro ✨💖
Time to watch haikyuu again ⚡
If only it was this easy
tip if ur right handed do left foot right foot and left foot in to a jump
2m in front of me like i’m measuring 😭
Did u wear calf and thigh support .. will that be good for jumping high
wow very affective but hard
Awesome
he makes it look like a hs girls net
The 3 step approach if ur left handed u do
Right, left, right
If ur right handed
Left, right, left
i will try it but is the ball supposed to go into the net?
make it look so easy
I like to toss on my left then do a full 4-step approach (right, left, right left) that’s easier for me because I don’t jump nearly as high
I can do EVERYTHING except the jump 😭well I mean I haven't tried yet with a real net-
What I also noticed is that your arm was 98% of being fully extended and your hand hitting a bit below the middle of the ball
So if the person is left handed like me, left foot first too right?
Bring this man a real size statue. Da mvp ♡
I suddenly remember Nishida from Japan men's volleyball
im just kid but my hard its throw but i teach thank u from philipines❤
notice how those are 2 different vids
if you're a lefty do it with your left foot
For serve better use mid swing for more power
Good tutorial, now I am pro player
dude where is my like button...♥️
Tots Carlos from Creamline serve like this it’s so cool HAHAHAHHA
I can do everything sufficiently but the toss just kills me
Try this service at school when you jump and want to hit it, it immediately becomes weak 😀
That’s why I do underhand in games cause these are so
Hard
The same for left handed? Or oppo
so it has to be high?
if it's not high you can't make it to the ball unless you do like a 1 step approach or some shit
@@AxelVb if im not wrong…if you want a powerful hit you have to do it high…that’s why you see some jump server flying

ive seen some people do very quick low tosses and it can work it's just not as powerful
low toss easier to control, high toss look cooler

Can anyone tell me the name of this beautiful volleyball.
I'm tired to find out the name.
Me running before the 3 step approach
when i do it i contact the ball with my hand and then my wrist which stops the spin, what am i doing wrong?
I got the throw right but I can’t do the actual serve
When you are left hand you can do that or change the foot step?
I wish i could try it but i have a broken ankle 😓
Is this the same for left handed hitters?
W tips
Man this type of serve is super difficult. Ill just stick with overhead serve haha
NC foot 😊 NC edit 😁 look different 😂
just saying for the right foot forward thats only for right handed people if your left handed you put your left foot forward first
Song pls!!!!
Bro when I throw it goes in my side or in my back
Song name pls!❤️
I want to do this but all the 3 gyms i play at dont have this much space for the approach so what should i do?
I do a four foot approach and throw the ball so that I run up maybe 3m and jump in close to a meter
I’d love to do volleyball and jumó serves but My knees are too old for jumping :(
Hi sir if I am left handed then my left leg should be front?
Amaizing
I'm left handed enough said
My problem is not with the jump, it's with the throw of ball 🥹
I would do a jump serve but my school gym has no space :(
Song: Ready or not - Abbie Ferris
What knee pads do you use?
In my opinion, he did not finish off the net and the ball fell in front of it, or does it seem to me ???
Me watching this after i already learnt how to jump spin because yes
What shoes do you have?
Is the footwork the same even if im left handed?
@Bibis OH! i see i see thank you !!
Im left-handed do I change anything?
Any way you can do a tutorial for lefties? I don't know if it would be that much different but yeah lol
it's the same thing Just reverse the foot positioning
everybody get ur cars ready
what if you're left handed
i used to be left handed until i broke my left arm, and my brain is always set to left foot first rather than right foot first. is this still okay?
Hi how spike curve to corner
This is basically saying run jump and hit
how to jump server: gotta learn how to spike first then timing
Ok now give me space behind the court.
Tutur ngesep zoadeee
I gotta start jumping higher and work on tempo now :)
