Yeah except you forgot to throw away the push rod guide plate. Not needed with the Champion rockers. I can't believe that guys build engines and use the stock rockers. If they only knew.
So I did a set of these champion rocker arms on my predator 212. I was told it didn’t really need the valve lash caps so I didn’t put them on. Now I’m having the pull start whiplash bad I’ve tried setting the valve lash but still no luck on fixing it. Should I order some valve lash caps and put them on? Sorry I’m new to the mini bike scene but trying to make it a fun hobby lol thanks
@@texasmike6565 you really don’t need the lash caps , but sounds like your valve setting is not set right , bring your piston up on the compression stroke , and roll it back down just a little and set the valves .002 on intake and .003 in the exhaust
So I bought these champion rockers. They were sold out of the x version and the other option was the straight one. I bought the straight one for my non hemi and it doesn’t seem like it would fit at all. For one the studs are the wrong thread and 2 the pushrods come nowhere near the rockers at all. Have you seen this?
I just pulled my valve cover off my 196cc Honda clone, and my exhaust rocker arm was loose feeling I was able to wiggle it side to side significantly more than the intake rocker, should it not do that? 😅
Champion rockers are 1.0:1 ratio. . . Alot of stock rockers are 1.1:1 ratio. So while you got a better set of rockers, your getting less lift from your cam.
@@BustedKnucklesBuildsTexas quick question so the rockers came with two lash caps and I noticed you only used one of them.I put them both on.Should I only put one instead?I haven’t fired up the engine yet.
Hell yes, I've got a set on my cheeftah right now. Happy Easter, Brother.
Right on , Same to you bro
Just threw a set on my bike last week, seem like quality product and does make valve adjustment a little easier.
Yes sir , I like them !
Can you use stock pushrods
@@BustedKnucklesBuildsTexascan u use the stock predator pushrods when you throw in the champion rockers on the predator
@@MrLopez-lm4jk yes you can. Thats what I'm using

Thanks for the video. Thinking of getting these. Will they handle 26lbs springs just fine? Got a cam I’m going to install that requires them
Yes sir , I have them on a set of 40/ 45 pound spring with a lot of hard ride time in the engine . Thanks for watching
@@BustedKnucklesBuildsTexas awesome thank you

@@dwelch2160 that I’m not sure on that , I have never tryed , I bet they will work ,

@@BustedKnucklesBuildsTexas got them from go power sports.

You sure you didn’t get GX390 ones?

No sir , they come with studs you will need to install
Hey bro i installed these on my bike today and it got so much slower revs more than it goes any idea of what it could be ?
Man I have no idea .. did you do anything else when you did the rockers ??

What rods would be the best for them
For this motor I just used the stock rods & cam. Thanks for watching!
after install with these any tuning i need to do? or just install em and let her eat
Just set your valve lash and you will be good to go 👍👍
I know this is a old video but I have a question if you could answer it for me please. My rockers came with valve caps for both sides do I need them?
Some stock engines come with cap just on the exhaust side , so I would just put the exhaust cap on and send her 👍
@@BustedKnucklesBuildsTexas thanks

don’t you need shorter push rods with it

Why only one lash cap on exhaust
@MrLopez-lm4jk on some engines . They only put the lash cap on the exhaust valve
lol.. this is “ kinda” installation. How about complete start to finish , from installing to setting lash ..
I can do that , thanks for watching 👍👍
