I have just purchased my first new Phoenix 721 and have been really impressed. I had the chance to meet and talk with Gary at the Classic this past year. He took the time to tell me some of this story and sign an autograph. I was really impressed that he did that. He seems to be a soft spoken person so he doesn't say much but was impressed non the less. All of the top people at Phoenix took the time to talk with us and really try to help and answer questions. His vision, to reality, to my garage. I love the boat and the brand. Keep it up Gary!!
I bought a 181 PRO in 1988. Went to the factories & picked up both the trailer & boat! Sold the rig in 2005 & it’s still running on the lake where I live in North Missouri. Earl Bentz has developed lots of good people as well as boats! Great story Gary!
Bought an 09 721 pro xp after years of owning nitros all the way up to 2019 with the V8’s. Got out of them to get into an older phoenix. Couldn’t afford the newer phoenix but I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Awesome support turning my boat into tournament ready and I can’t see myself ever in another brand! Never realized the difference in quality and the attention to detail! Most important customer support! Thanks Gary! Only wishes of support for you and your company!
I live in the San Diego area my previous boat was a champion it was time to freshen up I went with the Phoenix I’ve been extremely happy with it I’m lucky enough to get out on the boat three or four days a week I’ve put it through the test and would recommend this boat to anyone I could not be happier
Sophomore in college. Studying to be an engineer. Fishing for my college in tournaments. As many as I can afford to fish. My dream is to get a career as a boat designer. Fish as much as I can with the money I have. And work my way up to be a professional fisherman. It’s my dream. I have a desire to get that label and meet so many people and fish so many great fisheries. Great story. Thank you.
I’m looking for a new boat. I’ve always had Ranger’s It’s hard ,every time I hear Gary’s Story and compassion for the Business not to pick out a New Phoenix ! Humble guy……… a Boat Built by Fisherman for Fisherman.
Awesome hulls but I won't own one until they decide to stop cheaping out on dash panels, cowlings, seats, and carpet. I can forgive the carpet, but the plastic dash and panels ruin the boat. They are ugly and go so crap after a few years just like with Skeeters, Triton, Ranger, and the rest. This stuff doesn't matter to guys that only keep their boats a couple years. Bass Cat, Champion, and Legend understood this.
I still have a Stratos 201 PRO XL from 2007.....Great Boat....has been repowered....Great Story thanks Gary
I enjoyed the old picture of the Hydra Sports.
