Summon the Treant, hit it with Natures Touch then cast Dreamfire, Root and Tree of Life. The Treant will body people. Main problem is burning through your spells too fast but you still have your shape shifts to escape or finish. After playing more with shapeshift and getting better at it, I would say that its more reliable to be a shapeshifter focus like this guide here, but still its pretty funny to buff the tree. Main problem is you spend spells on the Tree and it could end up wasted if you blow your wad too early. You really need to bait and root and use Bear to tank dmg if your tree has an opportunity to put dmg on target.

It’s not like he’s going to tank a raging barbarian with a bardiche, but testing him on different mobs he seems far far tankier than he is otherwise. First time even looking at Druid gameplay and holy shit bro fighter sprint is like a crayon compared to the Picasso masterpiece that is druid movement tech this is just ridiculous.
@@franciscopetrucci The sprint and rage nerfs were terrible decisions. Nerfing those skills instead of reworking them was incredibly lazy and now the meta for melee classes sucks. For druid to be a stronger melee class than barb and fighter is a great example of how dogshit the balance in this game is.

Fixed an issue where Druid’s Dreamfire damage did not scale properly. Fixed an issue where standing on the Druid's Entangling Vines would not cause the player to be bound again even if the immune status was removed.
You said barkskin spell is useless, but I believe it is meant to be paired with bear form. Barkskin + Thorn coat + Bear and you become the party tank! I also think the rat ability may be meant for strength druid builds where you are not starting out at max speed.
The rat buff doesnt carry over when you swap forms. Making it effectively useless. Until Ironmace changes that, It will remain so. But I will update the description to reflect current patches and so on. As for Barkskin, Barkskin scales with armor rating, Bear form doesn't give you armor rating but flat physical damage reduction. Getting good armor rating on Druid is not an easy task given the choices of armor is very limited *tankiest being regal gambeson* I do not believe it to be a very beneficial spell due to these factors. If I was able to cast this on a teammate instead of only myself, I would 100% recommend the spell if you had a armor heavy frontline. Since that would make sense and scale extremely well.
Barskin nor bear form are flat, both are % based. I ran padded tunic and heavy leather legs and just spammed pdr and str base roll on everything. U only need like 40 or 35 % pdr to hit 75 in bear mode cuz bear is plus 50%, bear shout is another 15 and then barskin on top. That only cost me like 1400g and bear still hit for just under 200.
Tip with the chicken, it can actually triple jump, not just double. Tip with the bear, use the right click attack to help dodge, it changes your hotbox from being long to tall, which helps with getting your head out of the way to avoid melee attacks
For tip for the rat it is important to do transforming before jumping and be in mid air for your jump to work, so you can jump a bit late you just need to be midair

They also should have the cooldowns shared between the transformations u should not be able to do the rush abilities then auto use fly there should be full cooldown on one

restore and natures touch gives crazy healing. you can dreamfire to heal even more. the forest area is really good too if someone pushes you and your team you just drop it

the bear form I have found is so slow and has so bad range the extra health isn't even worth it. It is really only useful if they're cornered and the issue then arises that you might not have enough space to even bear form at all.. And by the time you find that out he's closed the range or has run away. The panther is much more useful to chase people down and swipe/bite them a few times then run away, but sometimes people are fast to hit you and you're SO SQUISHY it's crazy I've had alot of fun playing druid and it's definitely one of the best solo classes but it's also decent in a team because you can thorn wall opponents out or in with your team and you can sneak past the enemy or flank them using mouse and then close the distance extremely fast on their backliners.. But that tactic relies on the rest of your team being able to temporarily hold their own against a trio.. But I feel like druid is just sort of a all-around guy. heals are somewhat mid (they're HoTs and take a long time to cast) at least while in the middle of a fight since they require you to be close when casting restore and mending grove is static, and the melee is also mid since you're quite squishy. The animal forms are GOATED for chasing people down and for kiting etc, but they generally don't even hold up in a 1v1 fight if the other person is geared and stays calm It's not really that META in HR, at least I haven't seen that many, but I think it's just a question of time when people figure out how to play them

Yeah my kit is also hitting around 150 head, Its hard to get a hit in but setting one up and making sure you can hit them in the first place is the real mini game.
@@kazaren I haven’t played much solos but having a teammate bait them into a room and coming out of a dark corner as a harmless rat that morphs into a giant bear, pretty funny, and just running away as a rat my adrenaline is always pumping 😂

can you explain why you build more agi when you dont even really use panthr all that much? I thought the same at first but then I realized you're almost never using panther to fight unless youre just chasing someone down. You probably do more dps with the spear anyways
Yeah it makes sense. But at the same time adding like 0.3 scaling wouldn't like hurt people who wants to build more into supporting and keeping teammates alive. It just adds build variations and will never beat cleric at pure healing. Right now the build paths are quite limited for druid. You can pretty much only build damage and tanky to play him.
I pretty much only use a spear, as for what gear to keep, strength , vigor (health), agility gear is what I like to keep. Anything with those rolls or all of them combined in one item, even better!

Last I tested it, it was a flat 20 ar increase.

go to merchants>squire>base gear then pick the quarterstaff. the squire will let you pick your starting loadout. costs no gold

Just checked it out just now, Still works fine, W key - Jump and transform at the right distance and you should pass straight through
What worked for me is transforming first then jumping, not the other way around

Hiding in the shadows, stalking 3 man groups as a rat is my favorite passtime in this game lol. Watching them look for me when I squeak never gets old
