Thanks Dan! Improving every day! I'd say Leonard is in the top 5-ish of most requested at this time, so I wouldn't say his time is too far away! 👀 What helps the most is if that player puts himself in the spotlight, like Lekkerimäki did with his WJC performance! We'll keep an eye on Leonard ;)
In case you don't remember, a while ago, I proposed the idea of you doing a career re-sim of a 1st round draft bust in the game of their draft year. In the Zach Benson career sim, I asked you what games you had. You told me what games you had, and then I responded with a few specific suggestions based on that information. I am not sure if you saw my comment, as there was no like or response, so I will reccommend them again; Riku Helenius and Dennis Persson in NHL 07; Zach Senyshyn, Evgeny Svechnikov, and Colin White in NHL 16; Nolan Patrick, Lias Andersson, Urho Vaakanainen, Kristian Vesalainen, and Shane Bowers in NHL 18; and Vitali Kravtsov, Liam Foudy, Ryan Merkley, and Filip Johansson in NHL 19. (There were a lot of players I could have suggested in 07 and 08, but due to the NCAA and CHL not being in those games, I assumed that the players in those leagues would be there either)
Thanks for sharing this idea again! I don't usually get notified for comment replies so I have to manually go back and check on previous videos. Your reply must have slipped through. These are such nostalgic names, Colin White was such a simulation beast 😭 I cant guarantee anything as career sims on those previous games would take much longer (literally days, sadly), but I promise to keep the idea in mind for when I have more free time to record! Appreciate it :)
They did for the most part! This is a separate issue exclusive to defense. Since player growth is often so dependant on point production, the population of mid-80+ OVR defensemen by year like 7-8+ drops drastically from year-to-year. As a result, 78-80 OVR defensemen ask for $5-6M+ in free agency and get it. So, while the AI does a better job at signing NHL-calibre goalies and having a serviceable team in general, the larger ongoing issue is how defensemen don't grow.
Even though it wasn't the point of the video it was nice to see Raty do well in this video especially as an Islanders fan.
Agreed! He was very impressive!
Saw him play live in Gothenburg. Always rooting for a fellow Swede
Awesome! Looking forward to his career 🤩
Appreciate the correct use of letter "Ä" here 👍🏻.
Absolutely! 🫡
Great video, brother! Hope the eyes are feeling well 🫡
Side note, I certainly wouldn’t mind a Ryan Leonard sim 🥺. But I know you already have a long list of prospects to tackle haha

Shoutout to Fantilli in year 16 for 90 points in 79 games with only 18:28 mins per night
Big time!! 👏

@@Data782 that’s one of the best reply’s I’ve seen on TH-cam 👌
you should do a Brock Faber career sim? maybe
I see you! 👀
We’re never getting a cup 😢
😭😭 You gotta think one of those top-5 finishes would've led to a Cup! What insane bad luck in the postseason 😭
Plz do a Brandt Clarke sim or a Byfield sim
Oooo two great Kings options! Thanks for the suggestion!
Let's go
Yessir!! 🤙
Do a Dimitry Simashev career simulation
Haha Simashev has been one of the most requested! I may just have to give him a spin 👀
I thought they fixed this so teams would sign proper players for the nhl team.. 74 defense...
