George lynch is a once-in-a-millennium talent. I'm glad we were born in the same era.
Yea, and it makes you wonder why a "once-in-a-millennium" talent is being booked at bars and clubs often opening for Dokken. Well...at least he's working.
Still can’t top the first album with Oni.
Have to agree. Grew up on dokken (in my 50s) but when that dropped . The dark aura to that album is legendary. Funny one of the best tunes "All i Want" you can barely find but that one performance (youll know when you got it) lol. 🤘🏽
Sure, but neither could Oni really (was still sad to see him go). He left in 2018 to do his own thing, but haven't heard any news? Is he still doing Dio Disciples?

Oh good, George younged up by shaving his beard, that's the first hair to go white, Rob Halford looks like Santa right now. Good song and vocalist in this video too. That's how Axl Rose would sound if he could sing competently.

Interesting vibe
Mixed feelings about this track. I think it would sound better if Gabriel had gone full snarly, dirty vocals on this one. When he does, it's the best part of the song.

Some may not agree but I think George seems to tend toward a certain style of singer. It's not far off from either other previous singers. Not quite the same but close. I think he has a sound in his head. Just looking for one he can work with.

Got to say, sum of the parts do not make a better whole...while this kid's got a great voice, very different, it doesn't hold up in this band to Oni's. Logan's got the perfect blend of bluesy soul and hard rock belting ability, always loved him, even though he's had problems pulling it off live. These songs and the production fall flat also. Doesn't come close to the Brotherhood or Smoke and Mirrors, much less the first two albums with Oni and Robert Mason. Sorry guys still great to see you out there playing but not cutting it.
So far this album has songs that are just ok to me. Perhaps some will grow on me. But it just feels good, but not great. I love that Lynch tries to keep trying new things and push himself musically, but sometimes it is at the detriment of what he has already established. Use the explorations as additions to the sound, not as a replacement.
Should have made a video for ‘Erase’ or ‘Million Miles Away’ instead. Those 2 and Caught Up are the stongest songs on the album. This song is just ok…

Quite clear by now decades later that Lynch is a much, MUCH better guitar player than composer. Not that unusual when talking about top guitar players unfortunately
No denying George's talent, and I dig the singer's voice. However, except for the minute between 2:00-3:00, I am just not a fan of this song. From the beginning, it felt like a demo that was intended to be fleshed out. That one minute stretch only reenforced that. As a long time fan of George, I hope I like the next one better.
this is so far from what Lynch Mob were .. so sad ... it's an ok song but nothing has ever come close to the first Mob album

I love George's work but I am SO tired of the slow, boring, bluesy stuff. He should be stuck in a room to listen to any Edge of Forever album until he learns from it.
