nct dream is that specific unit in nct that is more known by fans as the most synchronized unit. they move like one (especially in their boom). also, my first and last is the first ever award nct received as whole? the kids are not here to play
The concept was like an innocent school boy crush. Like we've all had that one teacher we really admired and "loved" as a kid. It's not anything inappropriate but just an innocent infatuation, that's what they're going for. I think NCT Dream did this innocent concept well because they didn't "force" the overly cuteness, just let the natural innocent vibe play the part.
I think it's great that you're going from the beginning and watching all the NCT units grow step by step. (That was the experience many of us had over the years and it is very satisfying and it also makes you feel so proud of them with knowing where they've started and how far they've come. And for Dream, they were also going to school all day before practicing for hours and hours and some of them are learning Korean too. It's pretty intense. And it's part of why they are so tight. Mark also wrote his raps for this song (and many many others, he has the most song-writing credits in NCT). I miss Jaemin during this era but I'm glad he took plenty of time to heal his back injury so he could have a good long career. How mindful do young dancers have to be to keep themselves uninjured while their bodies are growing so fast? Is that an extra challenge?
Thanks for the comment! To my own knowledge and experience dancing during high school: When we're young, our bodies is usually a lot more agile and flexible. So it can be easier to not pay attention to the amount of exertion of physical exercise on our bodies. I used to dance everday after school outside of one of our class buildings, and sometimes it'd rain or I'd be dancing on a lightly sprained ankle. But I didn't care as much at the time because I thought I was badass. So my answer is yes, young dancers should definitely be a lot more careful with their bodies. Haha
This is legit my favorite NCT song in existence. Out of all the songs done by all the units, this one is it. Song and choreo was just downright amazing.
They raised the SM standards too high with this one. It's my most favorite song as well. And admit it guys, almost everyone can relate to having crushes with their teachers lmao
Jaemin(the guy who lifted his leg in chewing gum during the hoverboard performance) was absent here because of an injury. He was absent for 2 promotions(1 and half year.) that’s why he is not in this mv. Btw i’m so happy to know that your gonna explore the whole NCT😭 i just came back from the other vid saying that I’m hoping for more NCT and to learn that you’re actually gonna explore everything makes me happy.

Taeyong also has this issue, even right now he's on hiatus, but they never let him rest enough to fully heal it so he constantly performs with those pains and takes painkillers. It's sad, but SM doesn't let him rest...
This reminds me of the first time I've listened to the Dreamies I was like "okay, I'm not really into this cute youthful concept but let's see" Two songs later I was the biggest fan 😂 They actually have very creative and hard choreos most of the time, it's actually impressive that they pull that off so perfectly every time they're on stage.
