Congrats on the pickups! I was able to grab the Pikachu one on release day 1/29, then I just grabbed myself the Gengar today on 2/4! Yay super happy I have both for the collection now . Love these chonky squish 😊
Congrats! I went to one that opens at 7 am at 7:45 and it was dead inside. They had 2 of Pikachu and 2 of Gengar just sitting on a shelf in toys! I decided to just get Gengar! Your excitement matches mine and it makes me happy!

Gengar is my favorite Pokémon , i have a shiny one that I’ve transferred from every Pokémon game I’ve played. I was so happy when target had them in stock and Walmart , i have 4 in total , not a reseller just love them so much

For the 20” and 14”, went for the 20”. 😅 Gengar’s my dads Pokémon so even though I’m older now (20s) it’s sentimental. He has his own Gengar plush. I wanted a giant squish for my bed so this perfect. So glad I watched this video when I did. Gengar arrives next week.

Hate to tell you but it's still hard to get them as I end up having buy one off ebay as Walmart was already sold out. With no limit at Walmart you're not gonna find one unless you go when the store opens.
We have them too in germany, but the prices are rediculous. The small 25 cm(10) is abou 22-25€. The 35 cm(14) about 30€ and the 50 cm(20) 70€ sadly i only found one store that sell the 35 cm one, but it isnt in Stock. The 50 cm one is a bit too big for me and there is no way i would spend that much money. For 70€ i could import a decent pokemon plush from Japan.
Im getting a brand new 20 inch piplup for only $16.21 with free shipping, i cant believe i got it so cheap, i cant wait for it to come, ill probably give it to my son since he loves pokemon :) but i wish i could find him a cheap 20 inch gengar and pikachu though, oh well, i also got a 14 inch Christmas pikachu for only $8.10 with free shipping brand new, awesome deals for sure, both are probably going to my son :)
How much did target charge for each of them? Is it the same ones that Walmart was selling by mistake too early? Do you know when the Walmart is being put out? So that target only was allowed to sell you 1 of each?
In Australia the 20" is +$89 AUD (+$60 USD), 14" is +$35 AUD (+$30 USD) and 10" is +$25 AUD (+$17 USD). I pre-ordered 3 (for free shipping) random 14" ones from Big W within 2 days when it opened up and they sold out until the release date. Mine arrived today and they gave me 2 Pikachus and 1 Gengar so I'm going to return the extra Pikachu. They arrived in plastic (in a box) and I noticed in-store they also kept the plastic on for the 14" ones which is nice so they don't get dirty. I checked my local Big W and there was one crate dedicated to the Pokemon Squishmallows ranging from the 14-20" and there was more Pikachu than Gengars but still plentiful of each Pokemon and size. I'm excited for Togepi and Snorlax although I heard Cleflairy and Teddiursa are dropping from mid-March so that's pretty soon! Hopefully we also get them in Australia, I need the Clefairy!!! 😚

I never thought about using squish mallow purchases for youtubers/influencers as "work" related purchases (I am assuming since you said keep the receipt for your taxes) super interesting. Glad you were able to get your massive cuties!! Gotta find a nice place for them!
I kinda want Pikachu but the 20” is to big I don’t have room, however the 10” I would have room for but I’m not sure if I absolutely want Pikachu I don’t really like Gengar. I’ll have to see Pikachu in person to see if I want him or not
yeah, same.. inmy city we have a few stores that sell them but its always a gamble which ones they'll have even and dont even mention the pricing lol when i hear people on yt talk about "expensive squishmallows" or price hiks i'm like... a squishmallow than not even half as big as that small pikachu in the video will be 15 dollar here TT

I only wanted one of each, I don’t need more. They’re 44.99 & 20”. The ones at Walmart are 14.97 I think or 16.97 & they’re 10”.
