Thanks for the video! We just came back from BoardWalk… 1 bedroom Garden/Pool view room…had a few housekeeping issues too. We love the BoardWalk but the issues really were a bit upsetting especially for the money we paid. Still our favorite resort.
Boardwalk is beautiful. We stayed there about 10 years ago with our family. I would love to stay there again in the future - on my bucket list! Thanks for the tour.
Hey @NFossmeyer, it has become one our favorites! It took us a long time to finally decide to stay there. They used to have a creepy clown pool and I didn't want to stay there lol. They changed the design of the pool and the rest is history!
Thanks for the tour video. We are hoping for a Murphy bed in our room when we are there in May. My son likes the Murphy Bed better than the couch. Also ironically my family stayed in that exact same room before remodeling during covid. And we always wondered what the attic was too. LOL.
Hi @robertfox8131 that's so cool! I guess the attic is some sort of wedding reception room...I would go to the front desk when you arrive and request a murphy bed room. They will likely be able to accommodate! I agree with your son😀 they're so much more comfortable!!
Thanks for the video. It was super helpful. Sorry if I missed it, are you able to tell us the “new” room number you guys stayed in? We’re planning on visiting and we love the view!
@RandallGK that did not make sense to me! There must have been some reason they couldn't put a murphy bed in that room. I also am curious how many of the 1 bedrooms still have the sofa bed...I'll ask the next time I'm over there. I would definitely request a room with a murphy bed though if I were staying there.
Hi @jennyfromtheblog1567 thanks for watching and that's a great question! I looooove the murphy beds!! That would be a question to ask them the next time I'm at that resort 😉
The Boardwalk renovations are still not complete. This room appears to be one of the 1 bedrooms that has yet to be taken up. When the rooms are all completely refurbished, ALL of the 1 and 2 bedroom units will get Murphy Beds as well as a small pull-down twin bed under the tv in the living room area. This follows the trend that Disney used when remodeling Saratoga Springs, Boulder Ridge, the Beach Club and the Villas at the Grand Floridian. The Riviera Resort had this concept from the beginning. I think it's a vast improvement over the old pull-out coaches and my opinion is shared by most others. Sadly, the renovations are taking longer then expected (not unusual). I can quote from an article in the DVC Fan newsletter by Paul Krieger dating from Nov. 3, 2023. Mr. Krieger was able to preview the new DVC rooms and while he opined a dissatisfaction over some choices Disney has made especially, Disney's choice with using muted, generic colors, he also writes - The best features of the newly refurbished BoardWalk rooms are the addition of the Murphy pull-down bed, replacing the previous couch bed, and the single pull-down Murphy bed. These beds feature some of the rooms’ most colorful artwork, providing a small reminder of the resort’s former vibrancy.
@kristenzem, some of the rooms have the murphy bed just not all of them. I don't believe there is a 5th sleeper under the TV of any of them either. That is a bummer because kids love those little beds!
@CruisingWithElena, some rooms you can get a partial fireworks view. However, you're probably better off just walking to the bridge and watching them from there.

Yes, it's still a favorite of mine, too 😍

Looks cool but I wish it held 5 people like the studios do.
@palm95, thanks for watching and yes I agree 👍
our first stay here is coming up-thank you so much for this great video :)
@maggiekeats5436 how exciting and my pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it 😊

Hi @PHarleyCastelanos thanks for watching! The room # wasn't in the video (I think because we changed rooms) but I can try to find it for you 😁
@@yolofamilytravels that would be superb thank you!
Just realized the new floors match the boardwalk
I didn't notice that 🤣
Thank you for the video we had not stay at boardwalk jet
@ramonbalderrama2881 Oh you need to try it out sometime, it's a great resort!
wait- this looks refurbished but it is still the pull out couch rather than the murphy beds that are in the studios?!?!

Why do some 1 BR villas have pull down Murphy beds over the couch, while others have the pull down couch only?
Hi @jennyfromtheblog1567 thanks for watching and that's a great question! I looooove the murphy beds!! That would be a question to ask them the next time I'm at that resort 😉
Thanks so much for the video! its very helpful! I see your on the second floor.. how was the noise at night?
Hi! So glad you enjoyed it! I didn't hear any noise except for the fireworks 🤣
they do not have murphy beds in the 1 bedrooms at Boardwalk?
Hi! Some of them have Murphy beds, and some have sofa beds. I'm not sure why that is 🤔

Really disappointed they didn't put the murphy beds in these rooms - and no bed under the TV?

Can I see fireworks from boardwalk
