I want to get the genie lamp too. But I read on line that there's supposed to be mist coming out of the spout. Did it look like mist was coming out in the video? Because to me it just looked like a blue light.
No, it's not just you. I've discussed this with several other people. And we have all agreed that we feel the props are not that great( with a few exceptions) and are waaaay overpriced this year. More so this year than they have *ever* been in all of the previous years. And we really don't think the props are that great to begin with to justify them being so darn expensive. I still like Spirit Halloween But I don't know if I'm going to even buy anything from them this year. Maybe one item I have my eye on. 😕
@@frauleinmona I'm right there with you, Hun. We went today and I did see a few things I wanted to get but even those were overpriced. Hugs the clown is way over priced. He's cool but he definitely has some flaws. I told my boyfriend we would be better off trying to come up with ways to make our own to be honest. So sad because they could do great if they would back off their prices some but do better with their products. Thanks for your reply.

Because me and my friend Dennis were just talking about Hugz as well and we were saying the same thing! We think he's really cool, but we were stunned at the price when we first saw it! Over $200? We thought maybe $169.99 or $179.99. But not over $200! Spirit is getting ridiculous! And yes, you're right about the quality. I read so many reviews about all of the mechanical issues that some of these products have had in the past and people complaining about how cheaply they're made. If I'm going to spend 2 or $300, then I want a good quality product that isn't going to break down within days OR months of purchasing it! Sheesh! Yeah you're definitely right about the prices being lower. Home depot also has great stuff for cheap. Just yesterday I bought the crouching werewolf animatronic for $180 and its huge, like literally the size of a donkey. Something that size at spirit would cost around $330

Yeah agreed. I bought 6 from Michael's back in 2012, and I actually carved jack o lantern faces in them, and they've still held up fantastic 6 years later

Lowe’s really impressed me this year as well!! I managed to get my hands on their last Oogie boogie & jack inflatable @ my local Lowe’s.

They sale Halloween stuff at big lots. I did not know that.
