This is their usual way to do covers - they make the song their own with changing the style, adding verses etc. still keeping the essence of the song they cover, it's just wonderful. Actually they just covered "Stay" by Bieber & Kid Laroi and oh my what they did to that song, the cover is addicting! Also Hongjoong, their leader (the rapper with higher voice) covers a lot of iconic songs, like form Linkin Park, Michael Jackson, David Bowie etc. and this is the way he does them too! Also glad to hear this could brighten your mood! ATEEZ are a very reliable source of happiness for me, never fail to make me smile at least a little be it with their music or personalities🥰
