Also, I get Andy's struggle with the CVS dude. I will not go places that don't have self checkout lanes. I get way too many people that try and strike up conversation for no reason. It's also why stopped going to Gamestop as soon as digital became viable.
I remember the Fraggle Rock MacDonalds toys, they were similar Fraggles in little carts. I had one where the cart was a whole pickle with mushroom wheels and two Fraggles one driving and one riding in the back. The late 80’s were rad.
Ive had an electric one for years. I wrote papers in college on it. I find it way easier to stay focused on than using a computer. They make them pretty nice now, the one I’ve had has built in white out so you can actually backspace and “delete” mistakes. And the noise is always satisfying to me
I love how the conversation goes from this deep introspection into the concept of aging and maturity to figuring out how Kevin can dupe and scar this corduroy CVS employ for life lmao
I totally feel the conversation about adults. I'll be 30 this year and while I have a fairly normal job as far as work hours and responsibilities go, I'm like Andy in the sense that I just play games every evening and put off doing errands for as long as possible. I stay up to ludicrous hours on weekends too. Something Greg touched on about adulthood also resonates with me - it's not until you reach it that you realise nobody has any idea what they're doing. When you're a kid you think adults have it all figured out, when really everyone's just stumbling through life.
2 children, one failed buissness and a career in medcine and sometimes I feel adult. The job and family make life adult. The video games at night relax and make me feel content after a difficult day of patients and vaccines. Love the podcast a really great way to spend the times I have between night feeds and mornings before the surgery. Great jobs guys!
Nick and kev should go in with Andy and say thanks for always buying them snacks in front of the dude. And Andy gets a stick of carrot for himself. Lol
Yo Andy, I'm a 35 year old accountant, Head of Finance at a video game studio (redeeming quality), and I have 2 kids AND I never feel like i'm an adult. Around other adults, I mostly feel like I'm an imposter and that I could get busted at any time for actually being a kid. I think when you feel like a kid, no life event can change that.
I like how this started talking about how you know your getting old and then later Andy had a 30min story about interactions at the grocery store...congrats Andy you made it.
Growing up watching you kents; (turning 30 this year). It's a weird dichotomy knowing you're old or getting old but still feeling young at mind, heart body and soul. And coming to terms/realization with that.
I’ll be 38 in May, and there is a part of me that hates how relatable the adulting conversation was haha. I definitely don’t feel like I have my shit together enough to call myself an adult and my favorite things include pro wrestling and pop punk, but I’m also responsible enough to take care of myself and have a more “typical adult” job. It’s a weird in-between haha. ...also I learned how to type on my mom’s typewriter when I was a kid.
I got Guitar Hero 3 for Wii from the toy section of a CVS and it changed my life forever. It shaped my music taste at a young age and it got me playing Wii every night which turned me into a real Gamer™️. Thanks, CVS
I'm 31, and I learned to type on a typewriter in late elementary, so like the year 2000. The whole room was just typewriters, like 20. Small town schools that can't afford things are always way behind.
I feel ya Andy, I walked into a Cracker Barrel and found Pokémon cards one day. I bought a lot of them and the woman behind the counter says “we also have some sleeves too” and I said “no thank you, I actually have a book at home” and she says “oh the big boys got a book” So I know how you feel man 😐😤
I had an electric typewriter in 11th grade. Writing papers was a pain when the ribbon ran low. Edit: It’s clear we need to reel in Greg when it comes to the Muppets.
The modern never ending adolescence and it’s celebration for men in particular is the core of many of our social issues. Thinking for yourself and not for your group or echo chamber is important and I wish, more prevalent.
Greg over here always talkin mad smack about The Muppets, but then invites his new best friend Grover to his house all the way from Sesame Street IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. Was Grover immunized? He wasn't wearing a mask, can Greg be sure that Grover followed proper safety procedures? I dunno. Just seems like maybe Greg is not the best authority on Muppets.
Andy’s upbringing is exactly like mine in terms growing up with my cousins and how our families got together. I know for a fact it’s because we’re Latino lol my only friends who don’t share this this kind of upbringing are my white friends and that realization of how our young lives differ is mind blowing every time, couldn’t imagine being a kid any other way.
Not to b a hater but I REALLY like it when it's just the 5 with no guest. Guests seem like show is on a leash. When it's just the guys it feels more genuine
I've enjoyed both formats, last week's guest was great. I Never got into We have Cool Friends. Overall I think deep down we are all just excited for them to get back in the studio.
I also prefer it when there are no guests. I watch all the episodes without guests, but only some of the ones with guests. Not that they're bad, I just prefer it this way, because it feels more natural and random in some ways.
@@christofferthormannjensen3371 me to I c a guess in the thumbnail I'm out I used to watch alot of there content then they did away with KF/AF and the movies they r reviewing now I don't care about other then monster verse
@@christofferthormannjensen3371 right. I don't get it that show was so freaking funny nick yelling at Kevin, Andy's spot on snape damn I miss that show
I go to my CVS for snacks and have the same thought as Andy. Don't comment, don't say anything. For all you know these twinkies cupcakes and chips are for separate people who are all waiting in the car (they're not). And if I walk in and the one attractive girl is at the counter? I leave with just my energy drink and drive to the next place for the snacks. This is just how it is.
Question about the adult aspect, at what age do you stop letting your aunts and uncles pay for dinners and instead you offer to split or pay? I’m 31 and they still don’t let me pay.
They guy Andy is describing at CVS has some real annoying restaurant server vibes, the type that would gather your empty plates and say, "Oh looks like you hated it huh?"
I think of “old” based on mentality and maturity. Coincidentally, Nick and Greg are the oldest there, but I don’t consider Tim and Andy that much older than Barrett and Blessing. I’d probably consider Joey the 3rd oldest. As a CVS employee, I could care less what you’re buying. I want you in and out fast so I can finish my other tasks and leave on time. I see commenting on purchases as a big no-no because that could turn off some people as in Andy’s case. As for the dress code, after a while, it’s more about being comfortable, and fitting within them. I’m not gonna wear a long sleeve dress shirt in Florida heat when Corporate and the Store Manager could care less about fixing the air conditioning. And to Tim’s point on the toy aisle, yes. Our toy aisle is just 1 side that barely does sales because the toys all suck, and it gets messed up every single time. Not to mention, when things go in fad again like Pokémon cards, it leads to people trying to steal them all the time. It’s annoying.
"I know Greg is shit talkin the mups!" Elyse fucking kills me. International treasure.
Also, I get Andy's struggle with the CVS dude. I will not go places that don't have self checkout lanes. I get way too many people that try and strike up conversation for no reason. It's also why stopped going to Gamestop as soon as digital became viable.
This is the best line I've ever heard her say 😂
@@Kdude216 Just how quickly she jumped on the topic got me. I was not expecting it at all. She's just the best.
Came here to say this. I cracked up so loud my neighbors definitely heard it
Nick can 100% adopt me! Pizza, robocop, and predator!! Sounds so dope. Also im 31 hope that's cool
25, also down for this adoption
33 here, we can be his new 3 kids.
Greg - I am fuzzy on the specifics Also Greg - Let me tell you specifically what happened. I love this group so much lol
34 and still have no clue what I’m doing, never feel like an adult and no clue how to figure it out. This topic hit hard.
Tbh if you spend a lot of time watching stuff like this or playing video games you’re not going to figure anything out.
I remember the Fraggle Rock MacDonalds toys, they were similar Fraggles in little carts. I had one where the cart was a whole pickle with mushroom wheels and two Fraggles one driving and one riding in the back. The late 80’s were rad.
I remember finding out that those existed because I loved Fraggle Rock, but I was born in 88 and couldn't get them. I was fucking devastated.
I’ve always wanted to use a typewriter, they look really cool. I have never seen one in real life though.
I got one from A Goodwill store
Ive had an electric one for years. I wrote papers in college on it. I find it way easier to stay focused on than using a computer. They make them pretty nice now, the one I’ve had has built in white out so you can actually backspace and “delete” mistakes. And the noise is always satisfying to me
I love it every time Greg calls a random person in the middle of an episode lmfao
I love how the conversation goes from this deep introspection into the concept of aging and maturity to figuring out how Kevin can dupe and scar this corduroy CVS employ for life lmao
this was a gem of an episode for sure
thanks for keeping me company at the laundromat
I have not watched the video but I just had to come and compliment you on the thumbnail, truly fantastic stuff.
I really like these episodes where organically things get philosophical and even get me thinking about stuff

Just wanna say that having two KF Podcasts each week is really great and one of the best changes for you guys in 2021! Also, Standy on KFGD.

That Mrs Piggy toy has the milk mommy face 😂
As soon as Standy said "My lifestyle" my brain autocompleted to "Determines my deathstyle" and then he absolutely nailed it. Bravo, Nitro Rifle! 🙌🏻
Andy you have to get the Peach Sparkling Water from CVS. It tastes just like peach rings candy.
48:10 Haha, St. Anger. Oof, what trash can of an album (literally what Lars' snare sounded like.)
I LOVE the muppets. Those disclaimers needed to happen
Welp from the thumbnail we all now Tims future job. Santa....or should I say Mall Santa.
When I was a kid drug stores had generic toys, nowadays Walgreens has exclusive Star Wars Black Series figures.
Someone should make an old man Tim comic. One where he’s the only one left podding in Kinda funny and his sadness leads him to adopt 3 dogs
Elmo is a Muppet. Kermit is a Muppet. Cmon guys.
I fucking love that Andy just lives in a sitcom at CVS! lol
A Muppet Family Christmas crossed over Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock and the Muppet Show.
Greg need to know there is a new muppet babies show on Disney plus. As a newer dad, it’s the one show I can tolerate due to nostalgia 😂

double KF podcasts have been the best ever
I thought for Christmas, Andy was gonna say that he got a fruit cake that had gone bad since it was at the post office so long. LOL
24:43 Raúl, so cool!!!
Kermit used to be on sesame street. They are estranged.
I can already see it... In 5 years, corduroy guy is going to be a full-time hire at KF and we're all going to look at this episode with glee.
I feel ya Andy, I walked into a Cracker Barrel and found Pokémon cards one day. I bought a lot of them and the woman behind the counter says “we also have some sleeves too” and I said “no thank you, I actually have a book at home” and she says “oh the big boys got a book”

TH-cam rolled a Culligan water ad IMMEDIATELY after Nick sarcastically said "Clean drinking water is overrated."
Kermit came from Sesame Street, also Earnie and Bert were guests on The Mupet Show
I had an electric typewriter in 11th grade. Writing papers was a pain when the ribbon ran low.
Edit: It’s clear we need to reel in Greg when it comes to the Muppets.
Kermit was a newscaster on Sesame Street a bunch.
Lmao Andy thinks adults get to sleep in til 10:30 on weekends. I'm lucky if my kid sleeps til 8.
I'm pretty sure Kermit made several appearances on Sesame Street.
Yesterday I literally listened to the podcast where Nick told the cigarette story. What a coincidence that he would retell it on this podcast.
I had my old moment with the FCF. The second time it was watching I was like, nobody is leaking anything nobody is even carrying water! WTF is a drip?
Top notch pod. Would recommend.
A store employee pointing out you’re buying a lot of stuff doesn’t sound like the best approach to sell stuff
I can relate to everything these guys said in the first half of the podcast.... and I am 23!
I hope you all go to pull this off at CVS and the guy just goes why is half of Kinda Funny here
Muppet Babies, we make our dreams come true

It's cute Andy thinks getting up as late as 9 or 10 on the weekends is a thing.

Fun fact, I didn’t get a computer until freshman year of college in 2008. I wrote my high school papers on a typewriter. It was terrible.
Greg Miller not having cousins his own age explains so much about Greg Miller.

i broke the armrest after hitting it MULTIPLE times over a 2 hour span playing hollow knight. they sent a replacement and it's all good now!
No Sesame Street was made by Jim Hension, and the puppet characters are literally called Muppets on both shows. Elmo technically is a muppet.
