When I first heard this song around 2005, it tore me up. My wife would get sick so much, she was in the hospital more than at home and almost passed away twice. One of my grand fathers passed away a week before his 101st birthday. I heard this song and I thought, "who told them about me and my life? How did they know?". It made me cry so much but made me feel so good at the same time.

I was raised in a household with a dad that sang and played guitar in various gospel choirs when we were growing up. We enjoyed going to church and listening to the songs performed by traditional gospel groups local and national as they visited the local church's in Durham, NC. But it wasn't until my younger brother Randy introduced me to the sounds of the Canton Spirituals and Mr. Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's out of Tupelo, Mississippi. His music gave me a life-long appreciation for Quartet music and years later I'm still inspired, motivated and blessed by this very talented and blessed man of God. We enjoyed going to church and listening to the songs performed by traditional gospel groups local and national as they visited the local church's in Durham, NC. But it wasn't until my younger brother Randy introduced me to the sounds of the Canton Spirituals and Mr. Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's out of Tupelo, Mississippi. His music gave me a life-long appreciation for Quartet music and years later I'm still inspired, motivated and blessed by this very talented and blessed man of God.
