Erin, this is another great video! You have inspired me to continue on my sustainable /eco friendly consumer journey. My mom has a small handmade clothing shop and I am currently working on helping her find sustainable textiles to work with. It’s so hard sometimes. This gives me hope.
Aw what a cool trip! It must have been really great to meet with so many other people who also care and find out more about how they're solving the various sustainability hurdles 😊
Loved loved this! The scale of textile waste is frightening but it’s so heartening to hear about inspirational initiatives for repurposing it. (I’m sure more initiatives will be needed to tackle that textile mountain though! And all the textile mountains in cities around the world - a call to action?!) Also enjoyed hearing the sustainable brands describing the steps they take to make their businesses as low waste as possible. How they don’t compromise their ideals on any little detail. It occurred to me that big brands which are greenwashing can’t provide this level of detail or transparency about their businesses. 🙏 for your great work Erin x
Thank you for the time and effort to make this video - it was so very interesting and so cool to see the inside workings of these places. I learned a lot and hope you can visit more places and interview more people - this was fun.
Excellent information and very well presented. I truly appreciate and value your commitment to sustainability education. Great brand name (My Green Closet), too! Kudos to you!
Omg thank you so much of this video it was so helpful I’m trying to be minimalist, eco friendly and sustainable and I been looking for breads like this 💚
This is my favorite video you’ve ever made !! I absolutely love the behind the scenes. I’m going to NYC soon so I’ll have to check out the spots you mentioned.
What a great video - loved the mix of content - very inspiring and loved how you edited the video! I went to Eileen Fisher Renew in Seattle last year and got myself a pair of dress pants. I wanted to go and give them back to them when I was there this year + buy a new pair as the knees are now stretched out - but I didn't get around to. Saving them for my next Seattle or NYC trip! Also love the sound of the products from Oil + Water - which products do you use? I am looking for a new skincare brand right now. Edit: I noticed you already made a video about the products will check it out!
I love how you put this together! I know it's impossible to put together videos like this all the time but I would love to see more tours like this.
Thanks so much Shelbi! 😊 I'd really love to do more and hopefully can but it definitely does take a lot of time to make.
