    😢crazy..from a woman who has struggled with a 25yr heroin addiction. I now see why I was considered attractive, it has been conditioning us and allowing me to continue believing nothing was wrong.

      I bet you're just hot regardless of what's in your bloodstream.
      I had an 8-year stent with it myself in and when I got sober at the birth of my daughter(sober since June '21) & definitely gained some weight so I get the aesthetic
      but at the end of the day you're beautiful at the core of you. To heck with people's twisted perceptions of beauty.

    The confusion between legally a child (under 18) and biologically a child (before puberty) and psychologically a child (who knows what age) is problematic.

    • @MD-722
      @MD-722 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The problem is the over misuse of the word "child." Childhood ends at 12; teenagers, although minors, are NOT children--they are in transition to adulthood and up until the 1950s were considered young adults. _Teenagers_ and teen-culture are 20th century creations. But that it doesn't mean that what Kate Moss was being made to do/being exposed to was acceptable at all because it wasn't, but she was by no means a child and it very much so minimises the seriousness of what actual child models go through, hence why I can't think of any who made to 'supermodel' status (regardless of how one wishes to use the term) as adults.

    Even during that cocaine scandal, she never actually lost too much work, some brands might've dumped her but others picked her up or kept going with her, I've never seen her not in magazines during that time. She definitely has staying power.

      @@patriciavandevelde5469I disagree. She is absolutely unique, whether you like the thinness or not (note that she was thin before). She has something mysterious, alluring. It was all planned. When Burberry dropped her they replaced her with Agyness Deyn--granted she had no known drug scandals about her, but she was basically another grungy/rocker type. Subsequently Burberry picked Kate Moss back up later and ultimately the whole saga earned her millions; far more than she _lost_ in deals.

      @MD-722 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Men don't view you like that, you're just imbalanced-ly sheltered. Also lesbians exist and that includes predatorial ones. But I'd also like to point out that the people who first made Kate Moss do nudity at 15 were women--her booker Sarah Doukas and photographer Corrine Day. Those images were also shot for women's magazines much like her Calvin Klein adverts were all for women's wear etc making them the primary demographic--many of whom are still fans of Moss to this day. So once again, you are just too sheltered and seemingly don't even know what women are really like...

It was given to me by a family friend, it was her leather statement jacket when she was in high school. She didn’t know anyone else who could wear it and it fits me like a glove. I think Kate made comments in defiance of the body shaming, at 5'7 and 110 she was still a typical healthy BMI I know because I was an inch shorter and five pounds heavier I never had her cocaine habit but I smoked and drank on weekends never starved myself is her Mother slim too? She actually seemed a more "realistic" body image than 5'11 size 6 models imo but if people are not genetically a certain way they become insulting I guess she didn't look large at 40 when she posed for Playboy or recently for at 50 for Victoria Secret either she's just a tiny type accept her as is or don't whatever....

    • @MD-722
      @MD-722 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Kate Moss in no way shape or form had a more realistic body type than the original supers; if she did she would have never become famous. A woman who is 5"11 and a US size 6 would be the equivalent of one who is 5"4-5"6 and a size 4. Kate Moss was visibly thinner than both of those sizes.

      She was a good model and makes great images. Her bare face is nothing special and as a Brit I can wholly assure you that the point about her looking exactly like other girls in London at 7:36 is not just true for the city, but the country--she was just another skinny working class girl. An example is the British gymnast Annika Reeder who is a few years younger than Moss but from Essex. Although she was not a model so her beauty was not as important, if you search the following (Favourite Routines: Annika Reeder - 1994 Commonwealth Games Floor Final) you'll see what I mean, there's also a documentary about her here on TH-cam too.
      But in Moss' case not only was it her ability to _transform_ into something much more glamorous than she actually was that gave her such added appeal, it's also that she was a _Twiggy 2.0,_ but this time they were going to keep her around for more than just 6 years.

      @ I have seen her many times in person, she is not what I consider beautiful. In fact you can barely notice her she’s that plain but it is true in pictures she looks different, she did photograph well.

    Leave her alone already. Go to school and find a hobby. The End.

    Appearance is subjective.
    I don't think she's ugly...she's average at best.

    She came from a wealthy insider family. Stop playing like she was some "ordinary girl"
