Holy crap. I’m 66. I grew up in the south bag area, lived and owned a home in San Jose back in the 80’s to early 2k’s what on EARTH would possess ANYBODY to leave a car unlocked? Stupid beyond reason. Even in my nice neighborhood they’d happily smash in the glass to help themselves.

2:56. Why did the owner install a fancy expensive wrought-iron gate…. but leave wide-open access everywhere else around it on the porch? And why do that, but then leave the gate unlocked so that any punk can just saunter in? If those are glass windows, not just open spaces, then they should lock the gate to ensure security.

I am frome the Netherlands and i really dont get how the doors work in America here in the Netherlands even if you dont look the door you still can NOT open it from the outside you need a key for that and yes they can still break in but nobody can just open the door and walk in why?

I felt that earthquake up in central CT, it shook my whole damn house and woke me up at the time. Nothing fell off shelves or anything, but I'm pretty damn far away from where it happened. I'm surprised it reached that far.
