Sepultura T-shirt....I wasn't surprised at all that you decided on "flat black" for the color of the neck....lol. Nice work. I like seeing "trash" turn into a treasure. Much more satisfying than brand new cheap wood kits.
Really cool and challenging project! Just make sure to place the bridge to match the 25.5 inch scale of the Ibanez neck. Just finished a 25.5 inch style guitar with a hard tail bridge, and I had to redo the bridge position which sucks! Here’s the link:
Never ever do the thumbs up steve-O thing in a video of picture. :D Jk. Looks pretty bad ass with the wide neck on that body. Have you thought about a bit of a relief cut on the cut-away to give better access near the body?
That's not a bad idea although I think the upper fret access is still fairly decent. Also I thought about doing a belly carve as well but I kinda like the look of not having one for a change
@@Ryan_Sens you're right, it could change the look. I guess it depends how severe it's done when you look at the carve on a PRS where there is more access but the outline stays the same.
Good luck👍🎸🇬🇧
Looking forward to seeing how this turns out 👍👍😊
Very Interesting idea. Looking forward to seeing it when its done

I'm actually not a fan of black guitars generally but this one I have a theme in mind so it's required
@@Ryan_Sens Especially Matte black ,for me.....fingerprint city
I'm getting into this. I think the body size and shape makes this an obvious custom job; sick idea!
The music is great! Killin' it!
Time is getting short, but I'm tempted to join as well! Great luck Mate!
Haha your not wrong. No time left for fancy inlays etc. (At least me for anyway) but I think a refinish and a few mods is achievable
Go for it - Look forward to see the process.
👍✌😎 Cool idea.
Take care mate.
Just subbed. I would love to see a video of you painting that neck, since I’m planning to do the same with my own 7-string build. Good luck!
Thankyou for your support. I'll make sure I film painting the neck as well as the body
Welcome to the contest!
Thanks Brad. I'm a long time subscriber of yours. Love your work 🤘

Already on top of it brother 👍 Been there before though lol. The good thing about mistakes it that you usually only make them once
Good luck, man.
Welcome to the Build Off! Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
This is awesome. It's all about the next problem on the journey... not a smooth ride. I look forward to seeing what you come up with mate.
You the Man! Awesome idea dude!
les paul with a 7 string Ibanez neck? Awesome! Can't wait to see this when it's painted
Lazerbeam guitar maker. This is fantastic!
This should be interesting!
Good to see someone flying the flag for 7 string guitars!
