My resting HR used to be around 70. I am running 3 days a week now and keeping the target 25 KM per week. Now my resting HR is 47 ~ 50. Resting HR can be improved if you are willing to do cardio.

So lower the limit even if you do 3 days, atleast cover 3 or 4 km in a single day not more than this and if you can do daily, you can absolutely cover 5/7 km. American Heart association advocates 150 minutes of brisk walking in a week so this precipitate 23 minutes approx in a single day but you can go on for 35-40 mins per day
