Learn how to make a beautiful paper flower backdrop for photos and parties from start to finish! Like you, I love all the paper flower wall decorations as party decor we've been seeing lately. Weddings, proms, even events like the Met Gala have had a floral backdrop! But if you don't have the budget to rent one (they can cost $1,000+!), I'm here to help you. I'll show you how to make your own paper flower backdrop! I have lots of fun paper flower designs to show you, as well as planning and building skills!
And before you say, "Jennifer, I don't really need a flower backdrop!" remember that you can always adjust my projects to fit you and your needs! Even just two of these panels make a real home decor impact. You can use my planning and assembly tips to go as big or as small as you like. Love love love this! You are the best teacher! What pound paper do you recommend for the flowers? 65? 80? I get very excited when you come out with a new project! Keep them coming! My grandchildren love the projects that I have made for them!
I recommend 65 lb. paper most of the time, but you can also use 80 lb. for giant paper flowers. Thank you for your kind words!
Wow, that was a lot and it looks beautiful, I’m considering this for my upcoming 55th birthday but I have two issues it’s another location(state) and it will be poolside at night. Wondering if they will keep. But thank you of shoeing it is possible.

@@JenniferMaker it's the clear block looking boxes that you can put smaller balloons inside. Your TH-cam and website are great, I just can't get enough.
Just had an idea about taking it down for storage. Instead of cutting every square panel separately, what if you kept A1 and A2 together (B1 & 2, etc.) and folded the two panels, with the backsides together? Then A3 & 4 etc. Would that work? Not sure how you store the panels without crushing the flowers, but whether they’re stored single or two together, it seems it would be the same.

It's beautiful, but with the price of card stock and 3M adhesive in Australia, it would be cheaper to hire a real flower wall. Unless you were going to use it many times and could amortise the cost

What's the advantage of using the Command strips to attach the flowers rather than permanent assembly with hot glue?
It is your choice. You can remove them easier with command strips and reuse or rearrange the flowers more easily.

Why did you choose to attach the large flowers with command strips?
My exact question, too. Would hot glue work instead?
You could but if hot glue is in the heat it can fall off. I used hot glue on a door hanger with hot glue and the heat from the sun made my bow fall off.
