As you're studying under Sri Omkarananda Swamiji, you must have interest in the Advaita version of it. For Advaita Vedanta the Shankara Commentary is the ultimate. But if you find it difficult to grasp initially you may take the help of another simple commentary side by side, which focuses on the same but yet be more simple version of the same. I recommend the commentary written by Swami Ranganathananda Ji, whose commentary is more relatable, vivid and simple yet rooted in the commentary of Shankaracharya. It is published by the same "Advaita Ashrama" which has published the Shankara Commentary that you've on your table. Do check if possible. Namaste! 🙏
