This is a VERY comprehensive method. I bought the book BUT ... can we please have a bit of FUN while following the book. I mean that I'm going to go crazy spending all the time on the right hand on open notes if I can't at least have some fun playing some tunes to exercise the left hand at the same time. I'm British and French and in front of me I have a book called "La Guitare à travers chants" (learning guitare with songs). Admittedly it is a book for REAL beginners, but it's fun to gradually learn the notes and positions in the left hand with songs, then to come back to your book and get down to some serious work. It can be a bit discouraging to spend so much time on open notes ... not to say the effect it has on the family. I need a sound proof room - or a garden shed !!
this look s like brilliant book ,I will wait for hard copy ,will you advise on how to approach studying the book , page by page or different chapters at the time , total time per day , just to be productive and efficient with time

There are practice routines at the beginner for various levels. Includes a list of exercises to study and approximate time.
Also, the table of contents is kind of an outline of the book and the exercises within each heading are progressive.
