The Blu Ray was already really nice so if I already owned that I might not bother upgrading, but I don't so I just went for the 4K, and it looks like it's gonna be great!

Plus, HD Numerique videos are always well defined, youtube compression couldn’t mess the pictures so badly. Unfortunately this happened with several discs from StudioCanal, it seems their quality control is lazy and sloppy...
@@unhommeapart8722 No $hit ... consider that a divorce ! First time when I saw that movie I was a teenager and watched it on a fr. channel M6 ou TF1, tout sera en francais normallement. My sister tried to translate but in the end we couldn't really got the sense . 2nd or 3rd time I understood .
The 4k does have some nice pop, but there's way too much blocking going on with the colors that makes it look muddy, and the blu ray was already a superb transfer, so I'll just stick with that.
After seeing this kind of comparisons months ago, I rushed out to buy a copy of the 2006 blu-ray, which is the only HD version that keeps natural colours and lighting. Can't understand why this teal/greenish blue grading is still a trend. I've never been so reluctant to upgrade my movie collection before.
When the shots are tightly light, they look vastly superior to the blu-ray on the 4K . Shots with shadows look too dark, imo, especially at the end of the film.
Je reste assez déçu finalement car hormis le gain sur la recolorisation du film (peut être pas le bon terme mais on voit qu'il y a eu un travail sur la colorisation, plus poussé, plus péchu etc) qui lui redonne un coup de jeunesse et qui va vraiment bien avec le HDR, le reste est pour ainsi dire du même niveau ... le gain de définition est pour ainsi dire nul ou très faible et je sais pas ... je trouve qu'il ne rend pas aussi propre qu'un Alien ou qu'un Blade Runner pourtant plus vieux mais qui ont semble t-il bénéficiés d'une restauration de meilleur facture. ça reste cela dit plaisant et si vous ne l'aviez pas dans une ancienne édition, l'édition 4K vaut la peine.

why do they keep adding that green tint to most 4k Blu rays ? Just Why ? Wasn't the original here NOT with that tint ?

Why has nearly every 4K film got that Teal tint over it ? For me Blu Ray pisses all over 4K any day
