Ahhhh strawberries - the plants that keep on giving and taste so yum! Some super runners there too. LOL! Hope you didn't hurt yourself! Those little stools - yours looks quite sturdy - mine had just legs and one collapsed leaving me sprawled legs akimbo! Nothing else to do but laugh while looking at the sky. All the best xxx
Haha no I was absolutely fine thank you. Thought I’d keep it in to give folks a giggle. The stool is great, it was user error, I.e. I sat in on uneven ground. 🥴
Wow so many strawberry 🍓 plants Mags and so much patience to pot them up and plant them. I ended up offering mine to others on the allotments but I noticed there's still loads left on the table so might have to pot some up myself 🤭 😂 Some great advice about replanting and potting up strawberries 👍 Have a great weekend ❤ x
Loads of strawberry plants! Can't go wrong with those 😊 I need to order some more of different varieties for the buckets. My plan is to have a few different varieties for a prolonged harvest over the summer. Most my plants died this year sadly, but I do have a few runners to plant. Great update mags have a fab week!
My heart skipped a beat when you missed your stool seat. I've done that more than once. Strawberries are great. I got a few Alpines to grow from seed, but had to nursery them in a large planter for the winter, so fingers crossed;
Hiya Robin. My ample derrière broke my fall so no harm done lol. Hopefully your alpine strawbs will be fine. How's your weather? We are getting -3 and -4 for the next few nights !!!
@@mygardenanddinosaurs We've finally got some much needed rain. But night temps take a turn for the worse tonight...with frosty temps (below zero for you). No complaining here as we've had exceptionally mild temps this fall. Soon it will be micro greens inside. Can the celeriac take a few frosts, it's my first time growing?
@@DigwellGreenfingers I just have good old Cambridge Favourite and Honeoye. Both nice with good crops. I fancy trying something else too but as you can see I’m overrun with them. 😁
Enjoyed your strawberry info. I started off the runners from my strawberries in water and they rooted well. Potted them up and they are growing nicely. Just hope I get strawberries from them next year. What do you think?

And one of the main reasons mine are in pots 😂. One can only 😮😮😮 have so many plants. Great update Mags, Ali 🌧️🥶🇨🇦
Thanks Ali. I’m overrun with the things and I still have two more beds to sort out 🥴

@@RobinGardens I've never grown it either Robin but I'm fairly sure it would take a frost.
Nice one Mags. I never saved any runners from mine this year as I want to try a different variety. Any recommendations?

@@mygardenanddinosaurs Cheers Mags, I add those to my list

@@Flower-i6x If they are rooted and growing on, you definitely should get fruit next year and lots of baby plants thereafter.
You are spoilt for choice with all those strawberries to choose from
Hiya Stella. Yes, sooo many. Goodness knows where I’ll put them all 🥴
@ be brutal and only keep the best also gift to those near you in spring 😁
