Good point, I noticed that too. Hooxi always gave best rifles to those who actually kill like monesy or Niko. I honestly don’t know why Snax doesn’t do that, maybe it’s because of his previous roles as a star rifler, so he instinctively keeps the rifle for himself. The other question is why TaZ doesn’t point that out to him…

It's not just his decision. You think it's like whole team say "Give weapon to Niko" and Snax just says "No?". Come on, get real. They 100% made some arrangements on how to behave in such situations as a team. Maybe they're doing this in order to treat everyone the same in the team, maybe there's some other reason. Is the result positive for them? Not necessarily, but it's defo not something that they haven't discussed.
Losing to G2 is not too bad as they are top 3 team right now. Though apparently, Faze needs to change something as they are no longer the champion level team they used to be.

Kind of like how g2 couldn’t kick hooxi cuz he would always win a tournament right when you wanted to kick him.

yeah man, we're just plainly playing bad counter strike. you can't even blame the individual performances too much, our players still have very good stats this year. something just isn't working though, which makes the next decision very hard. do you change the roster and, if so, who goes?
we just need snax to play more like he played on mirage. More aggressive and sharp. This team isn't going to be able to win anything if he keeps getting .86 ratings
Look at previous g2 IGL - aleksib, hooxi. Every one of them while playing for g2 had rating not higher than .93. Evey IGL that joins g2 performs worse than he is expected to, for example look at aleksib. Right now top of the top IGL in best team in the world but he wasnt doing that well in G2. In my opinion, too much firepower is problem in g2. Also look at the ct/tt won rounds in recent past of g2. They are winning much more on the tt side on every map (I dont want to exagerate because obviously when you will look for matches with bad tt side you will find them). My point is that the problem in g2 is ct side where IGL is not as impactful as in tt.
Snax is just a big problem. I mean yeah, hooxie had shit stats, but man, he would just sit quietly in a site and jump spot for people. Snax keeps fighting for some god forsaken reason, and keeps on holding rifles. The firepower just isn't enough when one side is consistently weak without anything on the other to show for. Thank god for malbs and monesy and their absolute mind blowing t sides.
Most IGL have a hard time fraggin coz they always the 1st to enter a site, and it's hard to focus on your crosshair while processing all the information and communicating. You can see when the IGL in the clutch they can aim better coz their only focus on themselves. And I think no one is available in tier 1.
So from what I have observed, Snax, who has terrible stats and leadership, in fact always gets a rifle whenever possible. This is probably because the coach TaZ and Snax are "good friends". Also, I believe TaZ planned out the kicking of Hooxi and the signing of Snax. I think what happened was that TaZ provided zero support (on purpose) to Hooxi, and Hooxi had to focus on watching demos and had no time practicing his techniques, which leads to his terrible stats (after the departure of Swani). Then TaZ proposed to kick Hooxi, and initiated the signing of Snax. My poor Hooxi. Also no wonder Niko decided to go :(
This is the first pro match (mirage) that I have seen Snax end with a positive score while playing for G2. I have watched every match since he has been in G2. Good to finally see him do “something.” Gg to both teams. This was very enjoyable to watch.
Those first two maps, especially Dust 2 really showcased how bad Snax is compared to the rest of tier 1 CS. Snax had almost zero impact in the majority of those rounds on Dust 2, it was really hard to watch some of them. Thank God he really pulled it together on Mirage or I think there'd be some real talks about replacing him ASAP.
But this kind of Igl will not make them win against likes of Navi & Vitality If Snax had played like this vs Navi G2 would've lost 2-0 there would be no 3rd map to compensate for Snax He looks clearly outdated with CS2 mechanics & meta
Man the amount of Firepower in G2 is just insane. Snax can't kill anyone if his life depended on it but the other 4 make up for that, specially Niko and Monesy, they have been playing out of their minds. Unreal

I believe G2 simply struggle mentally. You see a lot of teams when they lose you basically don't see anything. When something isn't going good with G2 you see them being full of rage. Sometimes it makes you focus more/being more aggressive but I don't think it is the case 😕

I like Snax but this was really bad.. Making noise like a silver on a 1v1 8:34 , burning full hp 10:55 ,, whiffing af 2:11 even in very important moments 54:05. I guess he would still 1v1 me ez.. 24 kills in 61 rounds with only 10 kills in Dust 2 & inferno together. Hooxi wasn't great, Snax is not doing much better atm.

hooxi proved himself as another coach behind the scenes in dallas. atleast he feels smarter and know his weakness. he cant aim like his other teammates so he setup everything for monesy and niko. getting malbs without replacing hooxi works better. i really like hooxi igl ing. snax strategy is even worse than hooxi that the teams all aim no brain brawls now.

Why cant G2 mgmt understand that guyz like monesy, hunter & Niko cant keep on giving 4-5 months time to every new player that joins their roster
They need impact right away like Malbs did
Maybe one of the reasons why Niko wants to leave and will eventually leave
G2's inferno has literally turned to be their worst map thanks to snax & taz
forcing malbs to play Banana which is not possible
you need a guy who can assist and die for Niko first
a star rifler cant do that
hooxi proved himself as another coach behind the scenes in dallas. atleast he feels smarter and know his weakness. he cant aim like his other teammates so he setup everything for monesy and niko. getting malbs without replacing hooxi works better. i really like hooxi igl ing. snax strategy is even worse than hooxi that the teams all aim no brain brawls now.

@@Groniu9 Sure, but I don't feel like his calls made the diff. The individual skill , clutchs, trades and brut force got them through and they almost lost.

@@xonn Ive been watching CSGO for about 10years , every match. He's done - old , newer generation alors better it's just how it goes. Some people can't handle reality.
