i’ve been using the vaal and nergigante set bonuses alongside health regen 2 for my main lance build. absolutely insane survivability. i often go through hunts without using a single potion
Is this what i have been looking for, would that combination of armour work with a swax or do you have it because lance gives more health than other weapons from Nergi set bonus

Hp regen can be gained as early as mr 50 where you unlock lvl 5 of the guiding lands and hunter tempered odogaron for rarity 10 gear aumentations so mr 100 is not required im not sure about rarity 11 though
Actually beat fatalis my first time with tigrex armor, acidic glavenus gear for stun res a singular vaal piece, a safi weapon to activate vaal hp regen and wide range
@@LightItUpDan it was in a duo with a friend and i have old world knowledge but it was pretty fun stayed up to get good enough at phase 1 for a few nights till i unlocked multiplayer if i knew about kulve armor i'd use it to be honest.
This is the reason why Nergi was always my favorite elder dragon. The regen. I could fight for as long as i could once i got that armor on. Called it my Blood Sucker armor. Lol. Also Little fun fact. Nergigantes reproduce asexually. And via its spikes no less. Once a spike is ejected from the body it turns into a little nergi egg.
I love your videos and the editing, but I just wanted to ask, isn't ruiner nergigante also locked behind mr 100 so to get his gear for the "lifesteal" you'd still need to hit mr 100! Unless I'm missing something! I also haven't seen too far into the video yet so I may be corrected after finishing it haha

You can get hp regen before MR100 with rarity 10 or 11 weapon. Only Rarity 12 weapon required mats from tempered elder namielle which locked at MR100 aka hunting Ruiner Nergigante.
@@LightItUpDan its an options 🤣🤣 The whole purpose of grinding to mr100 & beyond is to minmax or getting the hp regen for r12 weapon. If you wanna skip the hassle, you have the option of rarity 10 & 11 weapon. I thought your video is about 'options' since you also mention about 'grinding to mr100'.
@@79kopi79 the vast majority of players will use a rarity 12 end of tree weapon pretty quickly into end of campaign, you really have to go out of your way to have a rarity 10! Options are fine yeah, but not I’m not always about them, more so about streamlining and reducing confusion. All the “well actually”s run counter to that lol

Only rank 12 weapons need MR 100,rank 10 weapons are much better cuz have more slots than rank 12 and the materials are way easier to get,you only need to reach MR 50 to unlock Guilding Lands lvl 5,if you complete most side quests before Shara Ishvalda when you unlock the Guilding Lands your MR goes straight to 49 instead of 24.
just get health augment on a rarity 10 weapon if you're new (rotten region lvl 5, temp. odogaron ) then get the rarity 12 augment later the set skills are good and all but they dont compare to health augment

Lance setup with 2 pieces of Blackveil Hazak and Palico with heals. Focusing on head breaks. I also try to slot Mushroomancer for extra boosts, plus it's a quick eat

I used to use Vaal super recovery a lot and it was great, I realized how much I relied on it after I stopped using it though, similar to what happens when I take my divine blessing 5 armor off, you notice how squishy you really are.
@@LightItUpDan Hunting horn is regrettably one of the few weapons I haven't learned yet, but in your fight with Velkana I saw that anytime you took damage you were back to full health in just a few seconds, it was wild.

the best health regen is evade window you never even see your hp go down. jokes aside though it’s nuts how easy it is to dodge most things with EW5
EW5 is basically dark souls mode.
Yeah feels a lot more like a traditional action rpg that way!

Evade extender is king. Evade window is a trap.

The MR KT Event Quest has an MR KT whose HP scales down for solo hunters. Raging Brachydios full set is also a great against Fatalis.

Have you tried it with the hunting horn extended health recovery? It’s insane haha
