These two ladies are my favorite One fighters. I regret that one had to lose. I had it as a closer battle than the judges, but I'm okay with the decision. They're both greatly skilled competitors.
One has to lose. Having a fight that ends in a draw is not a good result for both fighters. They care about their records too. It is like their resume to have a title fight in the future.

Zamboanga needs to learn ground and pound...she's on top yet no elbows or knees.i thought she didn't win
So Zamboanga won because of takedowns? She was out grappled every time it went to the ground. And outstruck on the ground. And had no submission attempts versus numerous attempts from her opponent. Far more damage caused and landed strikes from Jihin. Zamboanga just slammed into a smaller opponent and then tried to lay on her. And tried to rake her eyes in the first round.
Jihin was clearly the technician in this fight.
Denice Zamboanga's naturally so strong compared to others, I remember it took a bigger woman and much more buff to contain her before. Go send her to a power lifting gym to become stronger, then polish her boxing and kick defenses, and make her pick up wrestling so she could take advange of all those take downs and have some ground plays cuz no way he can pick up bjj quick that's shits harder than most people think... but don't forget her stamina. that's just what I do if this is like an mma my career game though lol.

She needs a trainor who could make finesse her grappling skills, with the combination of the kick and punches, she can takedown her opponent to the ground that easy, pwhewww, that was intense, my body tensing as if I'm the one pushing the Malaysian girl on the floor!

@8:33 I was okay with this ref's attention to detail up to this point, but COME ONE. Really? The third human in the cage shouldn't be the one applying the pressure for them to make a mistake. I felt these ladies were on point and doing a great job. Some times, you NEED to let your opponent make a mistake. I'm miffed from the yellow card. Uncalled for at this level of play, and uncalled for given the level of performance we've already seen to this point. Booo.
I really wanted to see more standup game from these... why did the ref just squelch it? I'm confused.. I think he just wanted to see them on the ground or something.

More room for improvement pa talaga si Denice. Yung instict nya kasi is puro submission maybe because of her BJJ background. Sana magpalakas pa sya sa striking and power lifting para hindi na sya ganun ka predictable and mas madali niya magawa yung mga takedowns kasi worried na din yung kalaban kung paano dedepensahan yung striking nya. In her latest fights nakita ko na hindi worried kalaban nya sa striking nya kaya madali madepensahan yung mga takedowns nya kasi alam nung kalaban na yun yung pakay nya sa laro.

I'm a Filipino and I live in the Philippines and I can unequivocally say that Team Lakay needs to get a good BJJ instructor because the skills they have in terms of ground defense and offense is worthless.

Were is Denise Zamboangga now? She should not be dis appointed on what happen to her, she should improve her power shot and stamina with technique.
Left side is first name...right side is last name in video, why use first name of one fighter and last of another?. It should be Radzuan vs Zamboanga. Not Jihin vs Zamboanga.
Maybe they can choose what name they want to use on the stage. Usually Malaysian will go for the first name to acknowledge people, so she choose Jihin. Radzuan is her father's name.
