Thanks for the video! Never paid the Zombee much attention ... even after building a Discraft bag at the end of last season ... agree with you on LOVING molds that fly differently based on plastic type! (my favorite) Happy New Year!
If you can find a puddle topped cryztal zombee, they fly pretty similarly to the big z you showed. It might be the glides disc I've ever owned, it never stops flying
Found this disc in a lake(no name, no number) and it has been in my bag for years! My go to straight shooter, no matter what disc. I wish I could find another
I was gonna say that the flight reminded me of a slower Tour Series Undertaker while you were throwing the Z, but then the other plastics were all over the place. And nice throw on that pole hit!
The Z really does feel like a slower Undertaker or Stalker. I personally like when other plastics are all over and can cover a lot of shots.... only if they are consistently all over 😅. Every time I watch that throw, I’m like “this is the time it goes in”
Got my beat og 2012 zombee, and just scooped a new Ledgestone esp zombee. Don't throw much DC. These are my only ones. Not sure what to expect out of esp but I heard they're durable.
ESP is pretty durable and will keep its flight for good amount of time. I found the new Ledgestone ESP to be very very arrow straight. Holds well against torque but very little late fade.
I'm watching this video because someone I know is apparently sending me a Cryztal Zombee. So. I'm pretty excited especially since the Buzzz was my first ace.
Seriously, I don't know why the Zombee doesn't get mentioned more often. It's a fantastic mold that you can really do a lot with. And I really like that it occupies that 'grey area' between a mid and a fairway. Sometimes, that's exactly what I need.
@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf 100% - there just aren't many discs out there that occupy this niche, and none that I know of that do it better than the Meteor. Definitely a sleeper.
@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolfExactly, it's a midway(midrange had a baby with a fairway driver) or midrange driver but midway rolls off the tongue a lot cleaner. It flys like a Midrange, it literally feels like a mid and has the same diameter as a buzzz. When you need that extra distance but dont want to worry about harsh turn and fade plus skip aways, I'm honestly wondering why companies dont make Discs like this. Only discraft has these like there 6 speed buzzz SS aka the glide and the 7 speed buzzz aka the stalker both having a feel like mids and have the diameter as the buzzz😮
Zombee is a great disc, but sadly if you want to add one to your bag for 2021, you might be disappointed. Unless you want to pay a minimum of twice retail on eBay. Discraft really needs to work on their production issues. It's tough to find regular production runs of most of their molds right now.
I haven’t heard anything, but also haven’t seen any recently. The best bet would be the Ledgestone runs last year. Came in TI and ESP. Only threw the ESP and it was super straight!
Thank you! I feel my backhand has been getting worse since I focus so much on my forehand. I guess I need to really need to throw slower discs backhand 😂
God I wish they would run stock molds of these in the other plastics like titanium and big z again so I wouldn't have to fork out 35-50+ bucks on just one disc before tax and shipping😢
It's possible to carry a Z, titanium and big Z zombie to cover overstable, stable and understable? And would it be better to get a glow Z for possibly more stability over just the Z? From watching the video it seems like the understable and stable slots are covered perfectly, I'm just not sure about the overstable Elite Z Zombie slot being capable enough for overstable duties. I'm not expecting the Z Zombie to be a meathook, i get that, but is it capable of taking on medium head wind duties?
Did you ever figure anything out on this? I have a big Z coming this week. And I plan on finding an ESP swirl. I just have a hard time thinking the BiG Z will be as understable as said in the video. I’ve never had Big Z be less stable than ESP on a disc mold that I’ve thrown
youre disc reviews are the best ive seen. thanks for all your hard work and dedication
Thank you! I enjoy making them!
Sweet shot hitting the pole on the basket. As soon at is left your hand I said GO IN! haha

I just got a glow z zombee a couple weeks ago; so very straight in that plastic. Will always hyzer with enough height, but holds a line very well.
I’ll have to check it out!
Loving the new type of plastic review. Looks really clean.
Thank you!

Always liked this disc, the picture on the big z is cool too
It’s getting a dye job done. Super excited to see it!

It is tough, but might still be able to find some of the Ledgestone TI Swirl or ESP from last year.
Another excellent review! I love it dude! Keep it up homie.
Thank you brotha! Looking forward to your overstable mid video!
@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf just finished the first draft, hopefully have it up tomorrow evening!

CryZtal Zombee’s are amazing! A tick more OS then the Z.

I feel many players just overlook speed 6 discs. Which is sad since they give distance of fairway drivers with control of a mid!

Been throwing since I started
I wish I discovered the Zombee earlier!
Did the Zombee go oop? I hope not, it's a really good mold. Especially for slower arm speeds.

Thought that Big Z was going in! Do you think the Zombee and Squall are the same disc?
I personally have very little experience with the Squall. I’m going to be doing a Squall review this spring, so I’ll put them side by side for sure!
You worked on your Backhand didn‘t you?
Looks like you get some more power behind it now

what plastic are the ace race zombees?
I throw the Zombee. Just can’t find the TI anywhere
Hoping more will be made soon!
Disc Battle: Zombee vs Squall
On the radar for this year!
when did you film this? because theres no snow in the vid
I film throughout the year. Some was in the early spring and some in the summer. I still have 15 or so videos left to release from the footage I have.

Slightly longer buzzz, as stated.
Zombee vs Kaxe Z
Unfortunately have to stay in the Discraft/DGA family
