I recently picked up the Crimson Stone set and the Code One book only to learn about N5. I decided to wait until N5 to learn the rules. I am really happy that the JSA are in the new set, The only thing that would have made the new set even better would be if the other force was Yu Jing. It would have been very Thematic when JSA tries to go independent and Yu Jing says no, you are a vassal state and tries to prevent it, or slow down their utilization of the new planets resources.. Your videos sound like they will be very handy in learning the new N5 system, I'm looking forward to them. I recently won a drawing for the Warcrow box set and rule book. I can play around with that while waiting for my sci-fi. The various Infinity faction figures will be great for my Stargrave games.
Thank you for your comment and for subscribing, I wouldn't worry to much about holding off on learning the rules of N4 as N5 is going to be (for the most part) the same with just a more easier to understand wording in some cases, a few new rules in others and minor changes (more a cean up) to existing rules. The ONLY "problem" with the N4 rulebook is that it is now outdated in that Corvus belli have the whole rulebook for free that gets updated often, which is one of the good tings about them (unlike other brands where they have erratas or a new book every 3 years). For the yu-jing, kind of agree, i love yu-jing, they are one of my favourite armies to play BUT the JSA independat thing was done in the last two "expansion" books (what GW would call campaign books) where as this box set is set after those events but at the same time it could be done that yu-jing are retaliating against JSA, personally i'd have preferred anything to pan-O BUT they are a very beginner friendly army so i can see why they were used. Well done on winning the warcrow set, it's a fun game, a lot different to infinity in play style, If you're interested in painting videos i do have one up on my channel now, with more on the way. :)
