You are one of my favorite channels! Your beautiful soul shines through in every video and I love learning all your stories from collecting, as well as hearing about how much your husband loves you! I find you so inspiring sending love and prayers your way 💕
Hello Sylvia....We live for the Loved one's we have lost and they would want us to be happy for the rest of our life. i lost my father when i was 23...Then my daughter 15...i was 34... I'm 78 and I'm still living for them. Thank you for your videos. i try to watch them all. I'm also a jewelry hoarder 😮
Hello Lady Sylvia, It is so hard to lose our loved ones but it is good to know they are in heaven .God bless you and Conrad. I loved all of the jewelry, I especially liked the mermaid brooch. I am very happy that brooches are coming back in style this year. I love them very much and I love to wear them. Take care.💜
So sorry for your very sad, recent loss. Your dear Dad has left you a priceless legacy - Love. That is a gift beyond diamonds. This English subscriber and fellow jewellery fan sends you an ocean of love and positive energy from Across the Pond. XXX
@@ladysylvia4018 Awww bless you, what a lovely message, and what a dear lady you are. I recently stumbled on your channel while looking for vintage fine jewellery chat, and I subbed to you immediately. Your videos are pure joy - like sitting down for a cosy chat with a trusted, glamorous friend! Your passion for jewellery (and your excellent taste), is so much like my own. I don't really use Facebook, though I have an ancient FB account in the name of my late, much-missed Maltese dog. If I can I will of course be delighted to reach out to you there. You're right, English jewellery and porcelain is some of the best in the world (vintage is generally the highest quality IMO). Our silver tableware is truly fabulous too, and highly collectable. I'm a big fan of fine jewellery from the 1930s and 40s in particular, but every decade has produced special pieces. Like you, I like my jewellery BIG and BOLD! Earlier this year I bought an amazing 18ct yellow gold leopard bangle, with ruby eyes and diamond muzzle. It's a gorgeous, chunky piece and my pride and joy (I have something of an addiction for big cat jewellery, thanks to the late Wallis, Duchess of Windsor's bespoke, Cartier pieces!) I already had matching leopard earrings and pendant, and this week saw an incredible matching leopard ring listed by a US Ebay seller, so went crazy and bought it. I can't wait to see it in the flesh! The late, great Elizabeth Taylor was iconic for her jewellery passion, knowledge, and the stunning collection she curated over her lifetime with such exquisite taste (and deep pockets!) She had many wonderful, witty things to say about jewellery, but I think my favourite quote is: "Big girls need big diamonds!" Any woman who wears the Krupp diamond to run errands, and sports a ruby and diamond tiara while swimming lengths of her pool, is a class act in my book! Thank you for so generously sharing your beautiful collection with us through your heart-warming TH-cam videos. I hope the admirers you have won around the world like myself, will provide some small measure of comfort in these difficult days. Sending you much love, and thank you again for your kind reply. Please take very good care of yourself my friend. XXX
So sorry about your father. My dad passed away in 1985 just a few days after my 25th birthday. I had taken a piece of my birthday cake to him at the hospital and was called to the hospital the next day or so that I needed to get up there. It makes it hard to celebrate when that happens. Prayers to you and your family.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your Dad. It's heartbreaking, and i know that you and Conrad are going to miss him. Sending prayers to you, dear friend. I love all of your jewelry shared today, but the little perfume bottle is just exquisite. I can see why you had to have it. I love the orthodox cross also. Thank you so much for sharing. Love and prayers, kimmee❤
I am sorry about the loss of your dad. It is extremely hard. I have been through it. Sending prayers to you lady Sylvia , try to concentrate on the happy memories
I'm sorry about the loss of your Dad. The jewelry is beautiful. I also love lockets, especially cameo lockets. Maybe the large orange cross could be dyed turquoise? I've seen a lot of multicolored turquoise jewelry online, like dyed purple turquoise.
