Korean Japanese Russian quite proud of their own mother tongue..... yes they learn forgein language (English) but that that too for namesake...... plus the girl is french ...... they themselve dont speak English much even if they knew (to the stranger or tourist) when i visited Paris last summer i noticed rarely anyone spoke apart from in very touristy places
Its not shameful to learn foreign language. English or otherwise. People who know both their mother tongue and english are gonna do better than the ones who only know their mother tongue .Big tech companies are almost all from the US. So it can be a big advantage to learn english
