...hypnotic...such a shame what has happened to most of our industry here in the UK, nice to see such craftmanship still surviving! Thanks for uploading!
Nice wall posters. Oh and great job creating this. Didn't know a technique like this existed. All our radomes are fiberglass/composite.
+Wayne Gale Meow- you see them all the time on telivision, but without seeing both the reference drawings and the part being made it is hard to appreciate just how enormous they are.
True craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing this!
Very impressive craftsmen - seriously. I had no idea. Thanks for posting.
Hi,
And thank you so much for this upload of one of the most interesting jobs I have seen.

Wow outfuckingstanding, lost art right there, great video...
Exactly. Those ribbons are razor sharp.
Enjoyed this video
That is one really big cereal bowl. love it!
I hope you pay this guy well. How many hours of experience are required before such a constant and precision result can be achieved. How easy to have an accident. Amazing.
Incredible , wonderful,
ahora entiendo porque trabaja tan bien mr. teniendo tanta inspiracion ennlas paredes....jejejejeje..saludos
Wow. What amazing skills. I've often wondered how seamless metal objects are produced. It looks like these engineering skills are crafted over many years. What was the engineer doing at 8:41? I can see the effect, but what was he using? Thanks for showing this.
That is some lathe. Can I ask what brand and model it is?
Exceptional
Good job
If I'm correct, those are cowling for aircraft. I remember seeing something on their channel of them making nose cones.
Enjoyable process to watch but it's actually a dangerous thing to do. Did he ever got his tool's lever spun down?
Verygood i like it
vital information thnx! thumbs up!
would you be able to make a steel drum or hang/halo drum and keep audio viability w/o hammering?
I'm looking for a lathe this size but cannot find one anywhere! can I ask what brand and model it is
Great video, but why is no one wearing hearing protection (that I can see)?
It took, what, about 80 sec to spin up?
Nice demo, thx.
it is like throwing pottery on the wheel!
How much does it cost?I mean a small batch (2-3)
real job!! nobody say work now!!
What is the biggest diameter of hemispheres you can make?
its like prossesing a drum cymbal . im sure its makes a cool sound when hit with a mallet while mounted!

Roof Ventilation Cover.
I'm in mexico city, I am interested in their work which is the cost of a cap of 140 cm in diameter with a maximum height of 40 cmm mmm 0.9 or 1.2 mm maximum
stadium lights?
cool
How did I end up in this part of TH-cam...
I still don't get why everyone argues over safety glasses and gloves. FOR WHAT at this work could them be useful?
There's nothing to happen.
If that thing gets ever ever out of control i don't think the glasses would do any sense when your head is removed by a flying around 1,8m big piece of sheet metal.
Excuse my bad english.
Some "interesting" comments . . . CNC machining is for cutting and lathing away material, generally, this is being spun and bent into shape; no cutting or material removal is involved. A cheaper way but with less evenness of thickness would be pressing.
Nathan Wahl hey genius he did cut n drill guess u dont know shit just think u do.
Those are tradesmen!!! Brilliant!! Also the people who leave these comments about work safety I wonder if they can do this job?
Metspin Ltd - Metal Spinners Metspin I am 64 years old and a blacksmith.
What we do at times boy oh boy. I would have had retire years ago! Keep up the great work and I hope you have young folk following you.
My regards
This is how you make a UFO Spacecraft Hull
@hangoutsumtime Roof Ventilation Cover.
I`v seen small spinning units ,but not one that large. Could make those round sleds for kids also.Nice production work still by hand. You don`t see that much these days
What the hell did they make? An oversized cereal bowl?
Out of a flat sheet of metal?
easier on a press?
what are they for large dog's?

i think now people use cnc for this?
brute force
who needs a wok that big
I would want extra danger money to do that job.... and lots of it
I believe he is 'spinning' a Hang. That's a musical instrument. Look it up.
Hello OSHA?
salad bowl. nice posters.
What is that question ?????
Falc1NL He is pushing the edge out, if your concerned about clearance of his hand to the work piece there is approx 3 inche gap.
it's a UFO technology!
Guess the two guys don't get paid the sam rate !…
I Don't Know
That's quite a salad bowl.
id like to think im a fairly intelligent individual, however i cant figure what the hell is being made haha. either way cool video none the less.
They are making some really big cooking woks. Used to feed large families. ;) he he he
This is the nose cone of an airplane, I imagine?
UFO uze only )) !
I don't want the poor fellow to lose his job, but can't a CNC router do this faster and more consistently ?
stayjit1 short answer, yes. but cheaper? probably not. economies of scale, man.
I work in the same Baghdad this work and Aakn machinist during spinning faster Pktertisaadena
Gu
you'll notice the back-ground wall-art. there is, as you can see, actual 'censoring' of what is socially-acceptable. for example, the nude body of the beautiful females is only confined to the frontal aspect, including the head, torso and legs...only. so, as with all censoring, there must be some form of social-acceptance/negotiation from all parties, not just the censor, viewer, communicator, or manager! - stop being so fascist! - fascists lose...in the end-game.
brute force
This isnt a sight you see very often these days a British craftsman at work.
