I think one of the biggest misconceptions about jungkook that continues to this day.. is that jungkook is good at everything because he’s so competitive. Does jungkook like to win when he does things ? I mean who doesn’t want to win in things lol do people like losing? I don’t know many that do … but the truth is that jungkook is a perfectionist and he has an obsession with wanting to constantly grow and show improvements every single time they comeback . He even talked about this and the truth is he’s naturally athletic… but it’s his commitment to growth that makes him who he is and as good as he is. He’s someone who is known for having a lot of interests and he’s just got a passion for learning and if he doesn’t understand something then he’s gonna do it until he does. The “jungkook hates losing” videos are almost entirely misrepresented moments lol they want to make it look like that so they leave out 80% of the content to fit their narrative so def be careful with the compilations and remember that this happens a lot lol jungkook said that ever since he was little it wasn’t that he was competitive but he can’t put things down until he understands it kinda vibe . Watching run you start to easily see that jungkook doesn’t particularly care in an over the top way.. I mean they all want to win… but like for run episodes… Tae and jin are the ones who will like cheat or lie to win the games… jimin sometimes lies to win but he always uses his cuteness for other chances and he’s someone who is super competitive and when he starts getting frustrated you better watch out lol jimin has like a short fuse when it comes to certain things… and run bts brings that out for sure. I have no problem with being competitive… like I’m competitive af…. But jk is seriously so calm and even keeled. Jungkooks hunger for knowledge and his drive to always show improvements is 100% how with his natural athleticism that he’s so good at everything and him not being overly competitive is the key. Look at it this way…. If you only care about winning or it’s your main motivation… then losses crush you… cause you to have to build yourself up a lot more often than someone like jungkook bc he keeps that positive mindset…and his main focus is to learn from the world around him.. he absorbs things like a sponge and probably doesn’t even realize it half the time. Jungkooks obsession isn’t winning…. It’s growth, it’s learning new things… if you put everything on winning and losing.. .it can create a lot more insecurities if you don’t win. The key to jungkooks insane ability to succeed at everything he does is bc he wants to learn new things… he wants to understand how other people do things. I mean even his vocals like he’s always learning and perfecting songs of other artists make and female … he listens and tries to get the sound that they have with his eclectic taste in music it has helped him acquired an extremely unique approach to singing and reach for techniques that most people in a specific tone don’t really try to do. He’s so focused on his commitment to learn that winning while it is exciting… it’s not what he pins his abilities on. This has kept him in a better mindset and truly he’s just incredible. He’s so inspiring and it’s honestly crazy watching him aster new things lol right in front of us. For jungkook compilations I would def stick to Ida s videos a lot if you can bc she lets moments speak for themselves…. It’s when people make videos abs apply their opinions to moments that are only their assumptions… it tends to get blurry about what’s fact and opinion at that point.
