Simmer and Trev are the faces of baseball for the younger generation imo. Very few stars outside of Shohei have their star power.

My Jr varsity coach was ex minor leaguer who threw 85-90 with off speed. He’d throw live BP since he was working on his own career also. When we saw 75-80 it looked like meatballs. Also no one could throw us off speed since theirs always looked like hangers. This is something amazing you guys are doing. Stay playing like kids

@@aidanking9621 my coach was old and wouldn’t let go of the job. He was my physics teacher and never played ball haha.
When I was in HS one time the starter for the other team threw like 98 and I sat 93 my senior year so to get used to the speed my coach made me throw from maybe 58ft to the guys all fast balls 93-98 is a huge jump and it actually worked we won that state quarterfinals game and went on to states. But sadly lost in the final 4.

@@HoRRiiBLe1313 yessir that couple feet bump up with my 93, figure it looks more like 95 plus. Worked like a charm the boys hit the shit outta his fastball. Smart move on my coach. He did play for the tigers tho little minor league stint but hey.

The best part about these videos is the sound quality. Every word is crystal clear and the sound of the pitch hitting the glove and the whistle of the ball. It makes the whole video come together nicely.

@@moose113 at the end of the day it’s a private organization with rights and the ability to do things like this. When you play for an mlb team, you know what rules you have to abide by and that this can happen if you break those rules.

Honestly, at this point, With as much as Trevor and sims are doing for the baseball community, he is doing more for the game than all the "programs" mlb has for kids combined. Unfortunately, Trevor Baur doesn't need to pitch in the MLB again to be doing great things. Videos like this proves it. As great of a pitcher as he is, he doesn't need MLB, but MLB could surely use him. If they were not so invested in money and image they would have listened to him all the way back in Cinci when he started ringing bells about pitchers using sticky substances on the mound. Trevor, don't cave or change. your name will be one that is on the right side of the history books 100 years from now when its all said and done. Keep up the good work and great content!
I live in Philly and the "RBI" PROGRAM for city kids was always made of all of the best players from the burbs lmao. I didn't even get a chance to try out. F the MLB.

When I was 22 my softball team played The King and his Court, a 4 man softball team that traveled the country taking on league champions. Eddie Feigner had all kinds of trick pitches. Ultimately it wasn’t a real game it was more for entertainment. They gave you instructions that played into the show. I actually walked and got picked off with a behind the back pickoff!
Eddie Feigner was a legend, pretty cool you got to play with him. This video immediately reminded me of the king and his court.
