The mallet = 50 line drives, the weighted ball = 50 high pop flys, the weight to the outside = 50 rough grounders, rolling the web and heel = flexing open and close the hand, the hot water = a sweaty hand... the idea is to replicate/simulate actual game play in order to speed up the initial break in period... Hope this provides a little perspective in how to go about breaking in a new glove. (the numbers used are purely speculative, but you get the idea) :)

Like he said in the vid, use warm water to form the glove to your hand and soften the leather. The best way to break in a glove though is to use it, use it, and use it some more. Find a friend to play catch with for a few weeks.
