I'm so glad a Gator fan finally acknowledged this! UF was at a low point too, for a while--but then they got it turned around and they're right back up. We're in a low point, too...but the rivalry is far more fun when BOTH programs are up. So much respect to you Erroll! I'll say this for Norvell: yes, we're in the pits right now, but the man has some intensity and fire about him. I'm willing to support the man...I'm still riding with my Noles.

I am sitting here rewatching this sitting at 9-0 and it's incredible how he means every word that he says. He always talks like this and he gets players who want to run through a wall for him. This is how you build culture when you are losing. This is also why unless it's a complete disaster coaches should be given at least 4 years to get their recruits in and build their program culture. It's crazy to me that last year we had fans who were thinking he wasn't our coach. I am so glad that our program knew who they had and knew the results would be worth the wait.

Yet we can't/haven't been able to keep the best players home....the list goes on and on. It's time for him and Blake James to go,and get an AD that's competent and cares. This is the response that I have been waiting to see. The only difference with Norvell and good experienced coaches is that they would have done it by mid-season last year and the beginning of this year. Remind people your program is young and inspire these kids.

He was hired at the end of 2019 and barely had time to get recruits, and also lost a lot of players from prior classes which is expected when you have 3 head coaches in 4 years. This 2022 class is his first real recruiting class and it's currently ranked a top 10. Those are just the facts. I don't get where you are coming up with 3rd recruiting class, but please back it up with actual data.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact Mel Tucker took a 2 win Michigan State team last year with players he didn’t recruit and has them 4-0 this year and playing discipline football.. it doesn’t take 3 recruiting cycles folks. Do recruits believe in the coaching staff at FSU? Do they believe the coaching staff will likely be there for the next 3-4 years? Recruits and their parents want stability. They want coaches that will put them in a position to win.
They will all be gone in 2 years. Recruits that are 4 stars or higher will transfer if they aren’t starting as freshmen. McCall and Travis Hunter will either decommit or transfer first year

Fireeee it up Mike! We play football really fast and loud in the state of Florida, this is what we need. I love these Noles, in fact these guys are very dear to my heart after that last loss. This season is the worst season in Nole History so far, the worst, every fanbase everywhere is laughing at these Noles, but you know what, it ain't as bad as I thought it would be. A few years ago if you asked me how It would be to experience a 4-6 season followed up by a 0-4 start I woulda thought I would be devastated and paperbagging it to work lol But tbh, I think Norvell and these Noles are getting very very unlucky in many facets, they are an 0-4 team that realistically should be a 2-2 team with only self-inflicted wounds away from a hard fought 4-0 (a little mental gymnastics there lol). Don’t let this distract you from the fact Mel Tucker took a 2 win Michigan State team last year with players he didn’t recruit and has them 4-0 this year and playing discipline football.. it doesn’t take 3 recruiting cycles folks. Oh in case you’re wondering Michigan State in recruiting was ranked 44th nationally in 2020 33rd ranked in 2019 and 31st ranked in 2018. 😆

Do recruits believe in the coaching staff at FSU? Do they believe the coaching staff will likely be there for the next 3-4 years? Recruits and their parents want stability. They want coaches that will put them in a position to win.
They will all be gone in 2 years. Recruits that are 4 stars or higher will transfer if they aren’t starting as freshmen. McCall and Travis Hunter will either decommit or transfer first year
Exactly -- #1 reason why Norvell will not be fired. If you fire him what message does that send to the recruits? What messages does it send to prospective coaches? Literally no one reputable will take the job.

@@efrengray5684 we gave willie 2 1/2 years to rebuild this program & we just kept going down hill . Norvell came in during COVID-19 which means he didn’t have a spring to prepare he was just thrown into the fire

Fireeee it up Mike! We play football really fast and loud in the state of Florida, this is what we need. I love these Noles, in fact these guys are very dear to my heart after that last loss. This season is the worst season in Nole History so far, the worst, every fanbase everywhere is laughing at these Noles, but you know what, it ain't as bad as I thought it would be. A few years ago if you asked me how It would be to experience a 4-6 season followed up by a 0-4 start I woulda thought I would be devastated and paperbagging it to work lol But tbh, I think Norvell and these Noles are getting very very unlucky in many facets, they are an 0-4 team that realistically should be a 2-2 team with only self-inflicted wounds away from a hard fought 4-0 (a little mental gymnastics there lol). Go Noles! This season and last season have made me a bigger fan of FSU Football than even the National title season, because I'm a sucker for an underdog story lol

Will some of those recruits leave, probably; but for now they’re still here. The LEGEND BOBBY didn’t do it in a day. We gotta stand behind this man and let him work. We need to be mindful of our reaction to the team’s situation right now because it might be us pushing these recruits away based on our negativity to a team that needs us right now.
