I have checked out BOSC and I LOVE the fact that Tad's wife, Peggy ("Pegadeth") is his bass player. Keeping it in the family....I think it's kinda sweet!
David Prime yeah that's true. Loser and Cooking with gas was on a 7" record put out by them in 1990. Then Habit Necessity and Damaged appeared later. They were added to this to probably just make it like a full album
@@zacmercure9634 Sub Pop's vinyl reissue only contains the original six, cut at 45 rpm instead the original 33, which is nice. Although I woulda taken Loser and Cooking With Gas on there as well because they were same session. The others sound way different and wouldn't belong.
@@davidporter671 That's great, kid, you know who Charlie Parker is. My point was about the dearth of new music so when I play something old but not as well known as the old MTV/top 20 shit it sometimes blows kids minds. Nothing better than weaning off sooners from the he corporate mediocre music drip
Little known fact thus far, I Matt, am listening to this album for the first time. I also just got finished eating and now feel like a fat ass even though I'm 166 lbs. Idk maybe I should stop worrying so much and just enjoy the music but I'm kinda all over the place right now in terms of emotion you know ? Just bored and really want to hurry this work day up so I can go home and be a normal human being again and read and make music and do more random stuff that I wanna do like continually writing this long comment that no one is going to read. Actually let me retract that last statement because statistically someone will and whomever that may be, I thank you. Why you ask ? Lol idk because I find this humorous. Only slightly, only slightly. Oh I misspelled thus so I had to edit. Tee hee. Ok bye.

Steve Albini produced this. the best.
преследуешь меня ??? 😳 а кого мне смотреть ?? Навального ? или Дмитрия Гондона?
Yeah, even reminds me a little of the band albino was in, Rapeman
🤘
GodDAMN! This aged well. I haven't heard it since '95 or so. I forgot how great their music was. ¡Delicioso!
Saw this tour on 2 hits of excellent acid when they came through Ann Arbor. It was a religious experience I will never forget.
the remaster is beyond amazing. Clearer without loosing that dirty, sloopy sound
Still nothing better than that raw analog sound though. The late 80s were great
The Talent in this band is seriously next level.
RIP Albini
Listening to this album for the first time, loving it
TAD ROCKS! LOVE THIS BAND, THEY ARE SO TIGHT!! LOVE THAT MAN TAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's fucking great. Check out brothers of the sonic cloth, It's his new band.

SoCali Guera I love that, reminds me of June Carter and Johnny Cash. Peggy is amazing too.
I actually grew up in Potlatch Idaho, truly. That’s all I have to say about that.
I ran into Tad outside Maxwells in Hoboken NJ 1998? He was with the band a fine group of bros
Also, Tad stagedove on my friend Bert at the Eagles' Club in Milwaukee in '93. Hilarious.
where is Bert buried? Probably under the Eagles Club Milwaukee I guess.
@@itookallthenames get a spatula for your friend.
According to Wikipedia, Salt Lick was originally an E.P. consisting of the first six tracks listed here.

God Damn I love that guitar on Potlatch. TAD sounds Pissed! You can feel it.
Hey Dude! I actually grew up in Potlatch, Idaho, no shit!
First time listening to this. It sounds pretty cool and different and new even though it's old.
Such a fucking good band. Heavy and slightly deranged, with just a hint of serial killer.
serial killing truck driver music. mental. I do love tad.
Heh..nailed it brother!!
Right now I feel like coming out from under the rain wet pines with my jug and pissing up at the moon.
Sick shit.
Who else first heard this on a cassette they found at a pawn shop and with the first track wanted to punch the fucking wall in exhilaration?
Maravilhoso!
tanta roba
loving it in 2020
RIP Steve Albini

THIS IS A FINE E.P AND YOU KNOW THE RECORDING STUDIO GLITCH ON THE RECORD MAKES IT FOR ME... I LIKE WABI SABI INTERACTION... COOL....
Absolute fkin killer!!
the tools, my goddam truck...
awesome
I had to replay that part like 10 times just now. The vocals. Melting
Proper record!
Immortal power!
awesome
The first six tracks are just ferocious. "Loser", the original EP closer, was always such a letdown in comparison.
"She's alll right" Thank god.
yea! fuck' n reunion 🍻🍻🤘
Amazeballs!!🤘🔥

you're welcome.
I just read it...
All I know is You Guys Kick Ass!!!!!
Dude tad could blow anyone off stage around this time ... They were better than Melvins in my opinion... Kurt D def was game changer
Danielson had the best bass tone of all time IMO. I'd put that tone up against anybody!
@madhatter bro so true so true!!! Man they really deserved so much more than what they got
Deserve way more credit than the Melvin's. Great songs.
High on the hog es prácticamente lo q Kurt quiso para nirvana
Primera vez que escucho esto y estaba pensanando exáctamente lo mismo!!!!
Llegué a Wood Goblins y pensé: Así tendría que haber sonado Nirvana!
Ola Englund sent me.
