IT's THE BLESSED WIFE PROVOST!!! Surprize, surprize, surprize (a la Gomer Pyle USMC). And then, the CHEASPEAKE BAY BRIDGE from the Western Shore of Maryland to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, the land where time stands still (It's at least 30 years behind the build up of the western shore). You never wanted to take the Bay Bridge on a Friday or late Thursday going east, or on Sunday going westbound. Never completely stopped unless there was an accident, but it sometimes ran slower than you did on this video. Remember that at its highest point, the Bay Bridge is 187 feet above the surface of the water. And that 's where you left us... we didn't get to see the Maryland State Police troopers and the speed trap at the eastern end of the bridge. The most fun I ever had was flying a Piper Cherokee 140 over the bridge en route to the Eastern Shore... much safer to fly without all of the commercial jet traffic heading into Baltimore and National airports; taking off from Lee Airport in Edgewater, MD just off MD route 2. The runway 28 final approach went right over a bank building with drive-in lanes... they put a rotating red light on the top of the drive in so we would not hit the bank on the way to the threshhold for landing.
Hey knowing you're a fan of Porsche you absolutely need to watch the 1320video upload of this old guy with a new Porsche taycan calling out racers at the drag strip then proceeds to drive like a mental case... Worth the laugh if you are able to put aside the danger this old guy is to others both on the track and on the road... I'd post the link but don't know if you allow links in comments etc etc.. anyways enjoy Florida!!
