Soon I am editing the footage now I just delayed it because I had a couple of things wanted to confirm first (plus life things slowing me down). Might take a few days a week at most due to other commitments.
Thanks for your effort and commitment! Really looking forward to it 💪🏻. I’m shooting myself some test footage with the 24mm in apsc mode ( which is the only lense I have) the image looks pretty sweet!
With the focus mapping I am in the GAS danger zone, dare I wonder if the same is true for the spherical focus adapter. Did a check the zv-e1 supports focus mapping.
Yes you can, but you need to use the lens station. It is an additional cost and an extra step. Though you need it to update the lenses to run the anamorphic adapter.
Unfortunately not it manual only and if you use T1.9 the depth of field is very shallow. I don’t think it will ever be autofocus to be honest. I am working on a more in-depth review and it should be out in the next few weeks. I wanted to really use it before I put it out.
@aircloud7471 this one actually stops the auto focus working, it uses the manual focus in conjunction with the electronic focus in the lens so they work together.
@@GMTNeilyes but this would not stop the dji lidar system from working. The samyang combo can’t know if a human or a dji lidar system is pulling focus.
Yes that’s right it would still work with the DJI LiDAR. And I t’s not like other anamorphic adapters once added to the lens it almost becomes one lens rather than lens + adapter, maybe that’s a better way to put it. So yes the DJI system will work. And with additional motors you can control the aperture as well. I also wanted to point out this is like no other adapter on the market.
Looking forward for your full review! When do you think you will put it up? 👀

It does and I will go into that a little in the full review (editing it now).
Not tried the focus adapter yet but I hope to in the future.
I watch on my iphone, haven't set up my Google account yet switch to my old android to comment, looks fantastic.
Can you turn off the tally lights on this lenses?

Does AF works with this adapter?

AF doesn’t really work with anamorphic adapters. You’d need something like the DJI LiDAR system.
