Great instructional video! Your video makes you focus on doing these exercises properly thus feeling every contraction. Thank you so much. You’re a great teacher.😊
Fantastic video Cori! I used to teach these exercises 10 yrs ago as a PT, using an a gym ball and ab wheel for the slider exercises. Much kudos for your aesthetics too. I have never trained for bulk, and have always preferred a lean, but strong appearance. I think you look incredible and I am absolutely sure that you are an inspiration to many people.
I'm definitely going to try a couple of these, with modifications for spinal osteoporosis, so most of the gravity assisted forward flexion is out. Leg lowers will work nicely at 45 degree drop, and those slider plank moves!!😮
Thanks Cori. Look forward to Sunday nights here in Australia when your videos drop. Im having flash backs to being with my PT using sliders and TRX many years ago. Now i have such a week core that affects my lower back so doing physio exercises. On a positive note i have just hit 10kg weight loss and thats even with a 3 week plateau. Half way to where i want to be. And that has just been from from weighing and tracking my food. And nothing processed except my 2 slices of bread for my lunch. Feeling pretty happy with myself lol Even with the plateau. As my PT always said believe in yourself and the process. Looking forward to see my blood results to see if any difference in my prediabetic numbers since august.
Thank you so much! My ab workouts were getting stale! 🥱 You’ve been my ab goals for 4+ years. I resisted tracking food but once I did it I started seeing serious results!!! Also, feels like the leaner my abs are, the more I feel them burning in ALL other movements! Could be in my head but I’m all for extra work to get abs like yours! Thank you so much for sharing all your wisdom!
Aw shucks thanks! Focused and intentional core work, strength training and MACROS! Those are my secrets. Oh yea...and consistency over years...the least sexy secret.
Your abs are so ripped I think they broke my phone screen again Cori😂 But seriously, thanks for the exercises! I also love using a yoga when I can. Your fat loss and other ab videos have really helped me get a six pack.
What about doing these exercises if you have diatasis recti? I have about a finger and a half separation since I had my last baby at 40 years of age and didn’t know about this condition and I believe I started doing regular ab exercises too soon postpartum. Can diastasis recti be corrected at this point? It’s been almost 7 years. Thanks for the great info as always
So not all ab separations will come back together but we can rebuild great core strength and control. The key for you is regressing moves to make sure you're abs aren't doming out as you're focusing on breathing correctly to not create added pressure. If you aren't, starting even back with that core engagement now through that pelvic tilt progression I'm linking to is key. But you need to make sure you are controlling moves as you can for sure rebuild amazing core strength! redefiningstrength.com/how-to-do-the-pelvic-tilt-exercise-and-should-you?sl=yc
Then you may definitely need to work on that ab engagement and posterior pelvic tilt to start. This move may help - redefiningstrength.com/how-to-do-the-pelvic-tilt-exercise-and-should-you?sl=yc
Please can u help I have weight trained for over 30 years consistently and am lean and muscular but I have a pin that runs down along my spine so I cannot curl it - which ab exercises might help me more with my obvious limitations thanks !
Hopefully you've gone physio to rebuild your core strength but lots of anti-rotational moves will be key for you as well as the anti-flexion moves I show here!
Good evening. I found out something by accident when I went snow tubing Monday. When I would sit in the snow tube, my abs would contract. When I tried getting out of the snow tube it felt like I was working out. After a while, my abs hurt. So I thought I would lay down on top of it instead. I found out laying on top of the snow tube worked out my abs too! My abs were sore the next day and I didn't eat much because it hurt when I ate too much because my stomach would push up against my sore abs. Has anyone experienced this?
All right maybe I'm not alone here, but I thought you were going to be working out in your bikini. Am I a bad person? ☹️ Anyway that's sliding plank variation is ridiculously difficult. Used to do CrossFit, and used to try it with the rowing machine seat, and also pikes. Really tough
Thanks for all the advise, I actually do some of these movements myself... However, personally I struggle with moves/Abs exercises for the oblices/side Abs...., I can't see to find moves that I feel comfortable with that I can also progress with weights
Weights aren't the only way to progress and for many oblique moves even tempos and ranges of motion can be used for progression, although even things like pallof/stability press can be progressed with adding resistance through cables and bands.
Absolutely fantastic extremely knowledgeable and straightforward instructions good health to you
Glad the tips and moves help! Enjoy!

Thank you! And those tools are so much fun to include to create that progression and challenge!

So many ways to modify based on our needs. And I share the options as all may not be right for us or our goals!
Looking good as usual!
Thank you so much❤😊

Hey Cori ❤️🔥🥰🥰❤️🔥
I can feel my hip flexors crackle while watching

Where do you come up with all these workouts??? You have the most unique unusual lifts that target many areas at once
Thanks! Glad the variations help!

You were going so nice and slow. I thought that would be perfect, but then he started going really fast.
