    Spend the day time shopping, touring historical sites, and playing in the beach. Wait till after dark to hit the bars and nightclubs. Great food, friendly people, great waters, and great diving sites. Been there three times and wish I could go back.

    Land belongs to someone who loves it and feels the need to protect it.Turkish people always wanted to capture Greece and epsecially Rhodes tha Island of knights because of it's beauty and natural and economical rich.Turkish history is a history of many parts of death,destructions,arrogant leaders and expansive policy....

    The letter ⟨C⟩ was the western form of the Greek gamma, but it was used for the sounds /ɡ/ and /k/ alike, possibly under the influence of Etruscan, which might have lacked any voiced plosives. Later, during the 3rd century BC, the letter ⟨Z⟩.. was replaced with the new letter ⟨G⟩, a ⟨C⟩ modified with a small vertical stroke, which took its place in the alphabet. From then on, ⟨G⟩ represented the voiced plosive /ɡ/, while ⟨C⟩ was generally reserved for the voiceless plosive /k/...

    After the Roman conquest of Greece in the 1st century BC, Latin adopted the Greek letters ⟨Y⟩ and ⟨Z⟩ (or readopted, in the latter case) to write Greek loanwords, placing them at the end of the alphabet. An attempt by the emperor Claudius to introduce three additional letters did not last. Thus it was that during the classical Latin period the Latin alphabet contained 23 letters:

    The island of Rhodes was inhabited in the Neolithic period, by Greek tribes... In Pindar's ode, the island was said to be born of the union of Helios the sun god and the nymph Rhode, and the cities were named for their three sons. The rhoda is a pink hibiscus native to the island. Diodorus Siculus added that Actis, one of the sons of Helios and Rhode, travelled to Egypt. He built the city of Heliopolis and taught the Egyptians the science of astrology .You have nothing to do with it,Turk!

    ok law :) Codex belongs to Rome , Romans speaked Latin and Latin Alphabet, even us using it. Roman architecture beats you in every place , maybe except templates.. Because there are only templates in Greece as historical architecture..in Trade and banking Muslims lightened the world at dark ages of Europe.. In Administration, Egypt had consistent structure, that's why lasted for long . Even Ottoman sovereignity lasted 6 century , for four of it you were under them :)

    our greek friends have to quit their dreams that may never come true such as recapturing constantinople(istanbul)! the entire population of greece is about 10 million. and population of istanbul is over 14 million. we lived together for centuries. there is no reason for keeping this hostility between us.we have a lot in common. why don't we try to like each other and be friend instead of being enemy?

  • @SKORD1972
    @SKORD1972 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    And worry about Greeks. Even in our worst moment we know how to work out things. Try to go a little bit further and use the things that unite us and not the things that divide us. And things will go better for everybody. Evolution is to take all the best from every civilization and use it in your own way.As a nation is nothing but a cultural product.

Do the inhabidans of today’s turkey look like Turkmen or Moguls? Do you look like them? Check your mirror yenitsar!

    Anatolia...Troy, Lycian,Lydians,Ionians,Mysians ..all these people were Greeks,and Hittites were not Turks,and their language has nothing to do with you!...Their language has being extinct ...The earliest known Turkic inscriptions are the three monumental Orkhon inscriptions found in modern Mongolia..YOUR HOMELAND!
