I worked in Sioux City summer 1978. I arrived by Greyhound Bus from New York. I was a very young man from Denmark. Very nice to see these pictures after all these years.
Anyone remember The 3 Pigs BBQ on Hamilton down the strip mall from Todd’s Photography? 3 Pigs was my parents restaurant until 1970-71. I used to clean tables after kindergarten 😁. We moved to Okoboji and opened up restaurants there. Great videos of my hometown!
My Great Grandparents settled in Sioux City in 1870/1871. My Step Great Grandmother lived there until the 1940s. My Grandmother was born there in Sioux City. Have ancestors in both Floyd and Logan Park Cemeteries. I enjoyed the one visit I had to Sioux City a number of years ago.

I miss the city of my childhood! Still live here but it isn't the same.
This is great! I remember almost all of those old buildings. This is such a cool photo show.

I can't believe such a beautiful city turned into what it is..
"I met a girl in Iowa and her eyes were big and blue. I asked how many kids she had and she said '32!"
