I'm always ready for more Dominion. However, my storage solution is never ready for more Dominion.
Oy vey. Don't get me started, half the reason why I haven't gotten the last several expansions is precisely because of this reason.
@@supermossboy1226 I'm happy to report that my storage solution is once again ready for more Dominion. I got a third art hobby box to hold more sets! I now have everything in 3 wooden boxes.

My wife's favorite game is Dominion and high up for me. It's so easy to randomize kingdom piles and it changes the feel of the game. We're still a couple expansions behind (trying to pace it out). I'm glad I got the biggest card box I could get!
"Command cards are action cards, that can play other cards without altering the physical state of the game."
In the 2019 errata these cards were given the "Command" type:
List of Commands
Band of Misfits, Overlord and Captain (revised versions) play a card from the supply.
Prince (revised version) plays a set-aside card at the start of each turn.
Inheritance (revised version) causes Estates to become Command cards, that play a set-aside card.
Flagship replays the next played card.
I'm on the fence about the number of lute cards. I think Bard and Wandering Minstrel might be enough for me.
Ok, for the last time, neither Rio Grande Games nor Donald X. ever said Dominion was done. That’s some groupthink that’s been perpetuated for years (in large part by you, Tom Vasel!) but it’s never been true.

I suspect the rumours came when Hinterlands was meant to be (base) Dominion 2
Been playing the digital version since launch and I absolutely love it. I then bought the physical copy of Seaside and Plunder which are the only two physical expansions I own.
Can't wait to play in person.
I felt the same about the complexity of the cards being the right way to go with Dominion, but a little much for beginners. It's a perfect follow up to Seaside and Prosperity 2nd editions. My guess is that Plunder is the overflow of all the card ideas that could have been part of those 2nd editions.

Dominion is by far my favourate game. I play the dutch version which has, and please look this up, a way better box than the original version since the word "dominion" is actually legible ;) I also really like that Chris joined the dominion reviews. The discussions between you are really beneficial to the quality of the videos!

Loot is powerful. I own this on Steam and if yu get an early collection of these it's lights out for your opponents. Quarter Master is OP... Wealthy Village, Long Ship and Siren are cool. Lots of good cards in this game. Took several plays for me to appreciate it. I give it a 7 out of 10. Great video guys.
Wow, I'm a bit surprised at the high ratings. I love Dominion, but in my (somewhat limited) plays of the on-line game using Plunder cards, it seems to me that the loot cards just unbalance things. If there's a card that gains them in the game, then it's absolutely necessary that you buy one or two of those; and then once you get a few Loot cards, the game accelerates so much, and is strictly focussed on them. Also, it seems to me that a Plunder-only card could have an overwhelming number of Duration cards. I love Dominion, but I'm a bit cool on this set so far.

Chris, the optic nerve is only sensory, not motor. Eye movements are controlled by the oculomotor, trochlear, and abducens nerves. Presumably, these are lacking in the gentleman on the Dominion: Plunder cover.
I just got scienced. But yes, the guy should have those things, haha.
It's the lack of an optic nerve that allows the eye to rotate unnaturally far. So he was saying the nerve was restricting the movement, not causing it.
@@patharty7507 Ah. Then the error was in presuming that the optic nerve restricts movement, as if it tethers the eye in place. The eye is held in place by a number of ocular muscles. If the tendons of a number of these muscles were destroyed, then the eye might have more freedom of rotation (though that begs the question of which muscles could execute the rotation if they lack tendons).
Or maybe it was an off the cuff joke that wasn’t intended to be scientifically accurate

The steam version is pretty good. It plays really well on steam deck too.
Cool review! Such a neat game still. Thinking abt combos, trying, succeeding or failing its always cool in some way or the other.
Well I won’t be surprised if dominion is higher on toms top 100 list this year than last year.
My biggest board game regret is selling dominion - I thought it has been superseded by other deck builders. I was wrong, time to pick it up again I think.
I blame most other deckbuilders for lacking something like the +action system, or following Ascension too closely

I've combined my entire Dominion collection (and the updates) in one steel briefcase with dividers...I skipped Alchemy & Nocturne and I can't fit anything else. Vaccarino has to stop! I didn't even get Allies, let alone this LOL

I'd like to see an expansion tackle different-colored card backs like the Stash promo card. I feel like it would be an interesting mechanic to design an expansion around.
I really think dominion expansions keep getting better. I sold my dominion expansions and was going to re-buy seaside and I didn't because I didn't like most of the cards. The last four expansions feel so much more refined than the previous ones.
I used to describe dominion as magic the gathering but cheaper and with all these expansions i dont think i can say that anymore lol
