- In this video we get our hands on a new Arrma release (the Vorteks 3s). My nephew Ryan and I put this new offering to the test and find out if this new 3s rig is all it's cracked up to be. Taking it to several locations and pushing it to it's limits, we find out what this new vehicle is made of. Come along and check it out as we put it to the test. AJ

Great video sir and a proper bash. I have a vorteks and I absolutely love it I have a granite too but the vorteks just handles so well even with the gyro off it’s fun on pavement too. Really all the Arrma 3s trucks have there place each one has its pros and cons.

How long did she last on a full baterry
I ordered a Big Rock for my son. Worried about the open drive shaft, I also ordered a dust shroud. A friend of mine had very good experiences with that. Really keeps the dirt and small rocks out.
Pro trick : watch movies at flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.

I purchased exactly the same Vorteks a couple of days before watching this video. I was down to a choice between the Traxxas Rustler VXL and the Arrma Vorteks and the Vorteks won me over on price and all the great reviews on its performance and durability.

Traxxas sucks. Scum company with shady business practices. You made a good choice to help keep the RC community growing. Traxxas doesn't care.

im torn between this and the arrma typhon v3 or maybe even the 1/6 redcat machete 4s cant make up my mind lol. what kind of upgrades can you do on these? i plan to go all out in upgrades down the road
Wow thanks for the great video but looking at the grass hight and jumping in that area I think the big rock does better. Looking for my 4 th car. Got 2 big rocks and a slash. Might have to rethink my plan. Might go 4 s car.

I know this is an old video but, how the hell did you not break a shock!? Lol
Unclear. We pushed it hard and they somehow held up fine. Still, later we switched them out with big bore shocks. There are lengths designed to fit this model. I used longer shocks and they change the ride height, but I'm switching them to the ones designed for this application. Thanks for commenting. AJ
I've been waiting for you to review this truck :)...Here is my question...where did the magic happen that makes this truck more durable than any of it's counter parts? and why is it faster out of the box than any of it's competitor's? ... including the 4S line...is it because they now include the speed gear that comes in the rtr box...or is something else making this truck faster and more durable than anything in it's class...(we still haven't seen the K4S v2 yet but). I'm baffled!
The optional gearing is definitely a plus. Also, they may have improved the plastic the arms are made of. However, I can’t be sure about that yet. I’m still running it stock. My Senton 3s is faster, but it has upgrades.
Great review for this truck, I’m torn between this and the Typhon 3s. I plan on back yard racing mostly some street speed runs and the ocational beach blast, any incite on which car would suit my needs best? Thanks and keep the content.
They are equally good. The typhoon is suited for jumping and speed runs and random bashing. While the Vorteks would be better on the beach and in the grass. I hope this helps. 😎👍
Good thing I didn't watch this video before buyer my vorteks. This truck preformed terribly given the locations😅
Bought a Vorteks in may 2022. Had to loctite the driveshafts to prevent losing wheels. Breakages: front suspension arm, steering buckle, shock shaft, rear and front diffs have worn out (plastic), pivot balls. The 18 tooth pinion makes it run a little hot, so replaced it with 15 tooth. Motor/esc fans are to weak in my opinion. A blast to drive on relatively flat surface.

First time on your channel. I picked up my Vorteks around the same time as everyone else. I love the thing. The only thing I've had to change so far is the servo. Blew out the plastic one and added the metal. Great review by the way.

What’s the distance for the remote control 150 meters??
For a good remote the idea is, if you can see it well enough to drive it, you can. 150 would do it. I have remotes that are short ranged and I have remotes that seem to reach across the planet. Some work well and some do not.

Just got into RC cars and live your channel . I am in the market for a car like this or similar but am wondering if the kraton 4s would suit me more because although I like car park, grass fun I do live near a wood that has a natural skate park and beach near. So wondering if kraton would suit all environments better
