Actually, there was a threat of a snowstorm that morning. As a result it was decided to delay the start for one hour. The turnout was lower than expected, so most items went very inexpensively.

I like the Philco 38-1 console. That probably would’ve found it’s way to my house. Hahahaha. Thanks for the video.

I did an electronic restoration last year on a 38-3 console. The 38-1 had more tubes (11 total). It was in decent condition, but the dial glass was broken. I had the same issue on the 38-3. I used a piece of plexiglass since finding a piece of leaded glass is difficult.

Wow that lot of Rectifier tubes the 80's and 81's went higher than the radios. Most of the radios were cheap until they got to the Airline radio. Did you get into any of the auctions this time? Thanks for the look around Bob.

They were all globes. Typically, globes go for around 20-30 percent more than "G" tubes. I can remember when 80 globes were being sold for $50.00 each. I left several hundred dollars there. I bought some radios, and tubes. I came home very happy!

@@Radiowild Yes I have globes for my 1928 Case radio and also for My 1924 Dayton Fan radio. They are no. 26 globes and Cx301A Globes as well as a 1925 Atwater Kent Model C table top al are run on batteries. I had no Idea they were that expensive now.

That RCA tractor trailer went cheap. As a custom display worth between $75 and $100 easily. The nagging question remains . Did anything follow you home Bob?

I came home with lots "O" stuff! Maybe a video may be in the near future for "show and tell". I'm poor, but happy!
