I can relate this, after rungeon on 4K insane difficulty my stamina have officially deteoriated despite it being a 4* map lmao, while blacklotus 5* map I can easily keep up
I’m beta and that map seems to be very easy for me now BUT IT STILL MADE HAVE CONCENTRATE AND TRY TO NOT DRAIN OUT OF MY STAMINA FROM (Uh how do I call this? Overlapping? Like tapping too hard that makes u lose stamina faster?) to get very good acc (at least above 99%) Like none other 4* maps give me this much stress when playing
Rule of thumb: if the SR doesn't tell you enough about the difficulty, the difficulty name will Proof: Houkago Stride lol Extreme literally has lower SR than Expert
blue zenith mapped by riunosk: jumpstreams, some trills and jump trills, with a ln jump stream but nothing too hard osu!: holy shit, 6.8* that’s insane pictured as perfect and plus mapped by mint: insane jacks and SVs with very hard stamina requiring streams plus the long duration of the song and the high hp drain rate, with only 1 no miss by crewk osu!: what a nice 5* to warmup mint moment

Pretty much all speed maps are underrated IMO. Some only slightly some very very underrated like The Empress or We Want to Run kek. Other examples encountered in my skill level (around 3.7 star), The Fool, Runengon, Blastix Riotz (not too under ranked), PSYQUI Education (3.8 has polyrhythmic patterns that are very hard to hit), Tenshi (True final boss), We Want to Run (has some very difficult mini jacks for 3.8 star).

For empress scream that looks like something at the 4 star but I don’t see enough of it to accurately rate it. Real talk though can y’all not put those Burst of notes at the lower levels.
osu lazers ranking system is actually horrible. I just got an S rank with a 97%, yet somehow its in the top 2k despite the top 50 being a be with a fucking 87. I should be in the top 40 or even 30 for that maps rating.
true it is kinda random. purple palace has less star rate than GHOST which has less notes and seems a little bit easier. purple palace has like 5.6 and ghost had like 5.9... wth??
I agree with the empress being harder than galaxy collapse I know accuracy isn’t everything but the difference is kind of large Galaxy collapse: 94.30% The empress: 93.28% Idk maybe I’m better at jacks
