I've said it once and I'll say it again.... 151 is the best set since neo. 151 has made me so excited getting back into collecting cards again! Glad you got a chance to open the UPC 'cause those promos are absolutely top tier.
Scalping has always been nuts and makes it hard during this time to buy from these small shops especially when the larger stores have the same product at a lower cost.
Love 151! The nostalgia is crazy in this and I’m loving every second of it!
Haven’t collected since 2001. My kids started watching the show and I had to show them the first season. We found my old cards in the basement. They wanted some, so we started buying some cards back in July and we have been having a blast since. 151 has been really cool and nostalgic for me. A little expensive compared to the other scarlet and violet sets, but still fun.
Lol I started collecting like 3 years ago when the 25th anniversary was out out McDonald's the only set in my town was sun and moon dollar packs and steam siege blisters... literally steam siege got me back in the game I was an og too back in 99 and kept my old cards too my excuse was my kid too to get back in it too lol
@@danedmonds119 it didn’t take long to go from me buying my two sons astral radiance etb’s, to buying myself one as well, to now buying everything in sets of threes for each of us. I have been trying to pace myself, now that I am a little more financially capable than I was at 10, 11, and 12.
We love 151 but the pull rates are terrible 😮😂

I have had great pull rates. I have opened about 100 packs and if going by value of cards right now I could sell them and make more then I paid.
Opened an ETB yesterday, pulled two full arts n couple EX cards, its just luck

Feel ya,... my mew upc burned me real hard... i thought i was going insane... only got giovanni's charisma alt art, tangela illu, and from the very last boosterpack a nidoking illu + normal arbok ex double hit... easy to say i was so mad.

Dude… the English 151 pull rates are extremely high!!!! It’s over printed trash. And the quality is garbage. I stick with the Japanese. They re-calibrate their machines and they take more pride and the quality consistency of their product. You guys can keep the English trash.
151 is the first set I'm actually try to get a master set of. Great pulls

This set definitely got me back in I grew up on the first few sets so I don’t really care about the other sets because I don’t even know those Pokémon.
I wish they would do something rather than the jumbo cards in boxes. Like even if they just blew up original base set cards like they did for evolutions and made it mystery its better than everyone immediately throwing them away

Bought 2 of the UPC’s, i one for each kid, first packs we’ve gotten ahold of for 151. My daughters had 5 hits, nothing too shelf. My son pulls 8, 2 of which were the Erica’s SIR!!! Great vids as always!

I got 4 hits out of 6 packs between one mini tin and an Alakazam box. Doubled up on the Venusaur EX though. Other hits were nice. The highs are highs and the lows are lows for this set it seems.
I love this set so much, but my pull rates haven't been that great

Easily the mew V gold because it is probably the best and most common pull.
I'm really excited to open up some 151, yet haven't seen any anywhere yet. I love seeing all of the different cards available in this set, as I think they're really cool!
The Zapdos box did me justice after the Snorlax ETB did me dirty
I opened a demi-god pack today out of a mini tin. I was so excited. It was the bulbasaur line, but i would've prefered the squirtle line
Picked up 2 UPC's and 2 etb's for X-mas (1 each for me and my 7yr old son). We're gonna have a blast ripping into them.
I might of been the impatient Ahole after i pulled a the illustrator venusaur. I needed to complete the evolution lol
I for one am glad they didn't put masterballs in the English set. Would make it literally 1000% harder to get a complete full set. It's hard enough pulling 360 unique cards.
That's exactly what i've been saying the 151 is bringing people back again and saving the hobby.

The hit I keep wanting to get is the Pikachu art rare. It seems to be the second hardest card to pull after the Charizard. I have seen more gold Mew pulled in videos than Pikachu.
Took a 25 year break but am just now getting back into collecting, wishing I still had all my originals from the 90's! Really enjoy getting to see the new 151 sets!

About almost 3 weeks ago I went to Walmart and bought one box of the 151 scarlet and violet and it had three promo cards at their bubble sore Charmander and Squirtle + 3 packs of 151. The first pack that I opened I got the best Charizard illustration rare...💪 I had to get the other special set Scarlett and violet 151 Pokemon that comes with 4 booster. To another Pokemon fan to another Pokemon fan...😎 Here's another gift I would like to get to you...🍩 Hope you enjoy...🤤

the pull rates have been really mixed, some days i get absolutely nothing some days i get some good stuff, haven’t got anything too crazy yet
Ive pulled such good cards from 151 products but i got skunked on my UPC 🤣😭
The upc is the only thing we haven’t bought yet. Got the zap box, abra box, 1 tin, a poster box, a binder box.. we got so lucky after having no luck prior. Got the AR charizard, alakazam, polliwhirl, Giovanni with Persian, daisys help, mew ex, blastoise ex, golem ex, arbok ex.
Not bad.. opened them all with the kid, he’s thrilled.. my wallet is hurting and see some of these cards that could easily recoup my money but don’t want to take them from my kid lol
I sold all my base set i had left and gave my 151-151 to my little cousin when i was 15. Now im kickin myself for it. But im getting the Itch!
This is the only set in recent times where I want to actually collect at least one copy of each card just because it's playing to my original feelings of opening the base set cards when they came out.

Just opened my upc box today and pulled the zapdos ex birds!!! Still prefer the box quality of the Cele and zard upc in my opinion.
Yeah I got my ultra premium today, I pulled 2 full arts and one ex. And then my Snorlax box and got 2 full arts. Sad times indeed.

I opened a UPC the other day and I loved the presentation and promo cards… the hits were lacking though 😅
Just ordered all the 151 collection apart from a 6 pack booster box. 😮 Got the premiuim on pre order luckily as sold out most places in the uk. Tins will seem to be released every few weeks as some ain't coming till end of November 😂
