Not as easy as you said. I used the thin metal handle of a narrow and thin BBQ fork to very carefully pry at the top of the tail light housing until it finally popped out, bent the handle of the fork but did not break the tail light, thank God! Pushed the handle of the fork way down so I was not just prying on the top part of the tail light housing.
i dont recommend using any prybar or anything in removing the tailight u might crack or damage the tailight but good for u u manage to remove without a single scratch
i can do it for few minutes without camera and talking but because of my viewers i had to position my camera plus talking which makes the work longer to show it to you guys

Got the nuts off then broke end of the red plastic cover, before I found your very helpful video showing the way to finally free up the unit.
