    This got me thinking... one could set up hubs that truly track the players' progress. Each level that u exit to can have a persistant Integer 'startChecker' that corresponds to the level number, so when u exit that map the starts on the main hub are disabled, except for the new start location u want that's the new Integer.
    Monster encounters on the hub map can be simple by default, say 4 imps that spawn when u enter modules once per hubmap play. But than other beasties only spawn based on that same 'startChecker' check. Than ANOTHER persistant Integer can keep track of say a key u pick up elsewhere to open the final arena on hubmap, or an overall progress or something. Weapon carryovers, rune ability carryovers, heck even your leveling system can be carried back and fourth. The possibilities are endless!
